Whoopi right though.

I amended that rule to stipulate specifically for strangers. If it's someone I know male or female depending on the situation I won't hit them back but if a stranger wants to walk up on me and attack be prepared to get laid out viciously. Everybody got the right to defend themselves. This aint even about should.

Co-sign on the Whoopi is marriage material.
 
Whoopi fighting that battle. That View crowd and coworkers are really a tough crowd to bring that type of view there. Kudos for her.
 
whoopi the realest on the view. she speaks the truth and i hate the double standard that comes with this topic. if i have a daughter I'm making sure she understands what whoopi is saying and make sure she knows what could happen if you put yo hands on a man 
 
I commend Whoopi. Real ****, it's baffling how women hide behind that "men have superior strength, he should never hit a woman"., yet ignore the point made about women accosting a male first. This argument is so asinine sometimes. I completely agree with the point that men should not beat on women. But I also agree that women should never put hands on men. Their irrational behavior is acceptable, but a man that decided to retaliate is a monster?

Yes, men should walk away because they know the dynamic that is at play. But why aren't women being held to that same standard? Why does the woman's behavior get overlooked EVERY SINGLE TIME?

It's because of the double standard that comes with the topic when a situation like this occurs where the woman is the one to provoke the situation. It's funny that I see some girls talk on social media and in person about stuff like this and always blame the man. But i feel that women won't speak up and accept certain double standards that are beneficial to them such as this.

The idea that a woman could get away with hitting a man means that a woman could usually be seen as the victim where as the man like you said is seen as the one who is a monster who can't control his temper while in fact it's the girl that causes the reaction is the one in almost every case the one to hit first and act on emotion

Because we've created a society that doesn't hold grown, adult women accountable for their actions.  We've essentially turned them into children.

And other grown women go along with it. Damn shame whoopi had to apologize for speaking the truth.

I've HAD to hit a woman once, literally exhausted all of my options. And other women still tried to say I was wrong even tho she attacked me and tried to break my stuff in MY room.and refused to leave. Apparently women are never responsible for their behavior
 
The tenets of modern day feminism:

- Never take responsibility for your actions (ideally, blame someone else).

- Every woman is a victim, therefore she is always right.

- YOLO to everything.
