Air Jordan VI "OVO" - Officially Confirmed to be Fake by Jordan Brand via Nice Kicks

The whole "drake" or "ovo" design is a joke and any true Jordan collector should be ashamed you would fall for hype bc a pop star(yea, he soft and sings way too much to call rapper or mc) puts a gay *** owl and his label on shoes already designed. I mean customizers like my dude below are way beyond this.

Atleast Kanye came up with his own fresh design that was something new and refreshing.. Not just go monotone with some additional embroidery. I mean come one, must I is would do better on Nike ID. Drake is wack and u can keep them OVO's. I'll rock some fresh Rising Sons or GMP over them all day.

Firstly the 10s and 12s were presented to Drake by Jordan Brand as an expression of good will for joining the company. He had nothing to do with the design process of those and received them just as he signed with the company. Secondly the 6s have already been proven to be fake and don't actually exist. Thirdly I also find it ironic that you say that the customizer above is beyond "this" when one of the first pictures I see on his feed is a mostly blue suede shoe with some additional embroidery of "eminem" and "encore" on them (which were actually presented to Eminem in a very similar manner to the ovos 10s and 12s).

He one singing track on his album. That and Days in the east. Since then he released draft day, believe me, 0-100, all me, 2on/thotful all,rapping. Know bout me. Who do you love. Versace. Rapping.

U right, Drake is an OG and really comes hard with it.. Just ask all the 12 year old girls in his fan club.. Hip hop is truly dead.
 
And my point was about the consumer market and the product demand. It's not based in the persons input in the product anymore like it was for us that grew up with MJ in the mid to late 80's and we wanted to wear bc MJ was just that dude. Kids bought the shoe bc they wanted to be like Mike, remeber ???.. Those wore the days.. Now our community goes crazy on "heat" or "grails" and I was just making the point the the OVO shouldn't be up there with kicks that were original and instant collectibles. U see what cats are paying for the OVO? Silly.. But what's great is it's just my opinion and u can have yours.

The designer I listed was just for his originally to create something new. That's what we need for JB now, are u content with just signing celebrities to forge the way for our most sought after shoes by some insignia and color change in a model 3 decades old??

I'll stick t the classics if that's the case. Atleast I know the origin and can appreciate what MJ and Tinker did back then for it ..

Ammoskunk is a fantastic restorer and I love the work he does. However that's what he is a restorer... there's nothing of his own "creation" besides a Jordan IV Yeezy custom which by definition isn't "originally new". Also what are "classics"? By the definition you're insinuating that means you sticking to original colorways instead of hashed up colorways being produced in which case nice avatar. 
 
U contradicted yourself with the whole create and actually used the word create as the verb to describe what he does... Lol.. So I'll just keep this short, I'm only saying that I prefer to go with a classic such as cement 3 with NA backs over something like the entire OVO lineup. Sure they are clean and I would rock them if it wasn't for that "how many licks does it take to get to a tootsie pop" preschool art owl stitched on. Basically a rising son on the XI model with some gold lace loops.

I just wish the sneaker world wouldn't be so "easy" to get marketed by this type of limited release line up. Like the Quai and Tokyo's are legitimate limited bc of the story behind them and purposely done so to be a shoe that people will really kill for years down the road . You got cats putting them I the same sentence of an OVO model and it's like "really?, u gonna compare Drake colors to a release that was done at 1 spot u the world to mark a special occasion for JB back then not
To mention a killer timeless colorway and design.

To each is own and hopefully the sneaker community stops letting hype beast dictate the market and use some real substance of what's behind the shoe.

And for the record I like Drake's music, more of the wifey's style but I can get down with most of his songs even tho it's a little EMO and pop like.. Hahah

Please point out where I said the word "create"? I was being facetious and pointing out that his most "original" thing was to take parts of a Yeezy 2 and slap it onto a 4...Yeah very innovative. I'm not going to argue with you because you're honestly contradicting yourself throughout your whole "short" paragraph. First you mention "I just wish the sneaker world wouldn't be so "easy" to get marketed by this type of limited release line up." Then you go on to mention two really limited pairs of 5s. Both made to commemorate something...not unlike the OVOs? The rest I couldn't really understand due to grammatical and syntax issues so I'm not going to bother. You're right to each his own people like what they like and not everyone is a hypebeast for liking the OVOs 10s or 12s. Maybe if you held one in your hands you'd see it's more than just a simple monotone shoe. The simplicity of the shoe makes it nice but the quality including the stingray panel and black iced out sole sets it apart.
