OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

All joking aside you're absolutely right. My boy was convinced I had him beat last night. I told him we've seen teams get blown out and then come back looking like totally different teams the next week. That's what happened last night, the Bengals had to abandon the run and Green was pretty much shut down by Revis so I lost .

Point being that who knows. Maybe he gets 2 goal line scores and breaks a long one. Crazier things have happened .

Should I drop Khiry Robinson for Ronnie Hillman or Odell Beckham?
khiry will lose touches when ingram comes back

hillman is just as likely to be a dud as ball was in that offense. he could never quite cover the blitz. ball looks like he'll be out a while tho

id try and trade khiry before outright dropping him

Tried trading Khiry last week, didn't work :frown:

Mannn, gotta love it when your opponent's D and K combines for 38 points

Up by 11.3 going into tonight's game, he has Morris and Harvin, don't like my chances.

This dude in my league is going to win with the 2nd lowest point total (75)...I have 111 and probably gonna lose. Hate this stupid game.

Not really though...

Yeah that -8 from Cincy was :smh:

I'll hold on to them for 1 more week...if they **** the bed again i'm streaming D/ST's for the rest of the season.

that feeling when you put up the second most points in the league and still lose ... by 1 to make it worse.

In 12 team and higher leagues, andre williams should have been picked up weeks ago.

Glad to see a parkland kid represent. Hes what austin scott should have been.

you guys know that you DON'T HAVE TO make a pick up every week, right?

Stop reaching for these bottom of a the barrel guys like Hillman and CJ Anderson that won't offer much, forcing you to waste your waiver priority of handful of FAAB budget.

Oliver isn't a bad pick up, the comparison to Sproles is easy, but can he do it again?

easy for you to say. alot of dudes are desperate. ball may miss a few games, picking up hillman is huge.

Easy for me to say? Or maybe I just know how Fantasy Football works, and desperately trying to find someone and blowing your wad on a player you may only play 1 week is foolish and short sighted.

Just look back at your league...

For example, in mine - manager with top 3 waiver priority - on Oct 1 - bid $9 on Darrin Reeves who got 5 pts this week...prob won't use him again.

Crowell, McKinnon, Royal - names that people went after hard the last few weeks and the return has been minimal. Can't be so quick to make moves without seeing big picture

I'd drop Hunter before Gerhart

???

The same Gerhart who played 10 snaps yesterday? The same Gerhart who averages less then 2.5 ypc?

OR

Justin Hunter who made his first start yesterday, who's seen his snaps increase since week 1, who put up a 3-99-1 stat line yesterday on 5 targets?

Gerhart's garbage bruh.

True, but if you find that 1 breakout player (Victor Cruz '11, Keenan Allen '13, Knowshon Moreno '13, Arian Foster '10, Alfred Morris '12) it's all worth it.

Got the W wrapped up in one league

up 24 in money league with nobody left. opponent has Lynch, Morris, Seattle kicker.  I'd have the win wrapped up if i had played Gates and Forsett instead of Cameron and Benjamin

Down 25 in 3rd league, i have Lynch he has nobody.

The lynch thing puts me in quite a conundrum

Someone predict Lynch's stats tonight?

I need a bad game from him tonight for the W.

i hope he does. Id rather win in the league that i have him in than win in the league where im playing against him. if that makes sense
