OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I like him.

Someone talk me out of being the guy that drafts Gronkowski in Round 3-4 and prays for 14 weeks of good football...

Man, the way I see it, you play Fantasy Football to win the whole damn thing. Second or third is no type of consolation prize. Gronk is obviously huge boom or bust player. But if you can get him in the third round where he seems to be going a lot the dude could damn well win you the league. Take the risk and draft him man.

See the only problem I have with Murray is that the Cowboys defense may be atrocious and they'll have to air the ball out with Romo like 40+ times a game. Other than that, the Cowboys OL could be one of the best in the league and Murray should be heading into the prime of his career in a contract year. Dude just has to stay healthy.

downloaded the rotowire app

this is so confusing, no idea how to change pick settings so i can see what they sugget

Russel at QB

Did I do ok?
How many teams in this league?

Not a huge fan to be honest. Don't think Lynch will have a good year...Bell is going to get TDs taken away...love Julio and Cobb though. Just personally wouldn't wanna draft Bell and Lynch.

And why did you draft two defenses...?

Can someone please convince me Murray is a good 2nd round pick? Always feel shaky about the dude.

Who do you guys think will be the #2 back in Houston? Trying to handcuff Foster.

That dude's team is a hell of a lot better than the team that won my big money league last year. That guy's starters were...

Russell Wilson
Jamaal Charles
Danny Woodhead
Deangelo Williams
Pierre Garçon
Torrey Smith
Antonio Gates
Rams D
Matt Prater

Luckily for him Jamaal Charles went off for 53 points and D-Will and Garçon had their best games of the year to put him in the championship. Him and this other idiot ended up playing eachother in the championship the next week with the score being like 62-60.

i am a big fan of total points and not just record to get into the playoffs. total points represents your team much better. guys can have years where they win low scoring games all year and someone who puts up very high scores can get unlucky and have a team go crazy on him.  top record and total points are the way to go.

Yup.

Two years ago I had the most points in a 12 team league (no BS)...didn't even make the playoffs. I think my record was like 6-7 or something.

Lost a game by literally one yard...Larry Fitzgerald was one yard away from scoring a TD when I was down by 5 in the last minute on a Monday night game...

Lost another game when the Chicago D gave up a TD to Ryan Broyles in the final seconds of a Monday night game, deducting two points from me when I was up 1...

Brutal year.

Would you guys snag Peyton in the #5 spot if he was there in a standard non PPR 12 man league? or would you take Forte/Lacy/best RB available.
