OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I'm debating on whether to go with Travaris Cadet or Allen Robinson for my 2nd Flex spot this week. Full PPR, 1pt/10 rush yds/15 rec yds. Cadet's role was already increasing when Pierre Thomas was playing and now with him and most likely Khiry Robinson out this week I think he'll put up some solid points. Robinson has been very solid though.

That's exactly why I consider benching him this week he hasn't been consistent at all the last few weeks.

Megatron and Sanky.

But then I see his upcoming schedule and it's like Jags, Browns, saints, Texans, bucs, steelers. Those look real favorable so I don't know what to do

I trade Fitzgerald/Harvin & 11th round pick next year for Wallace/Blount & 17th round pick next year.

Feels like I locked down my WR #2 spot by adding Wallace, hopefully this works out till Josh Gordon gets back.
 
I got offered LeVeon and ESanders for Gio and Jimmy. I kinda want to but I can't. :lol:

I'm starting Gio till he breaks his ribs. Not a fan of sitting my studs. Couldn't care less if he's had a few iffy games in a row, too much potential. Never benched Shady, never will either.

If you need to trade Gio, get someone better than Sankey.
 
^ I hear you but I have other options such as Vereen and Bradshaw and they've been more consistent then well Bradshaw has but I understand.

Man...I really have no idea how I'm 5-2 in my auction league, which I've been in for 14 years so I'm trying to win of course. It's an auction keeper league (2 keepers) and I kept Josh Gordon for $7 and Deymarius Thomas for $17. I'm trying to trade Deymarius I think...because the rest of my roster is boo-boo. 

12 team league, 4 bench spots only, standard scoring except receptions are worth .5 and we play decimal points.

QB: Flacco

RB's: Lamar Miller, Travaris Cadet, Knile Davis, Darren Sproles

WR's: Deymarius Thomas, Josh Gordon, Michael Floyd, Marques Colston, Cecil Shorts III

TE: Jason Witten

Now...obviously the primary need is a RB. Problem is, nobody is willing to trade a RB for Deymarius straight up. I could probably get Eddie Lacy for Deymarius but is it worth it? Deymarius has put up ridiculous numbers last few weeks, enough to win me the last 3 weeks on his own.

But I'm loaded at WR. Plus getting Gordon back I'd have almost too many WR's. Gordon/Floyd/Colston should be fine if I can get a stud RB1/RB2. Or do I just hold out?
 
I wouldn't trade Demaryius for Lacy. Lacy you gotta buy low on, DT could ball man. Try moving Colston for a RB.

Its tough. Nobody in the league has RB's cause of the auction format. One kid is running away with the league cause he has Murray, Bell, and Vereen

Also - since it's keeper auction - Deymarius value is extremely high - but these kids aren't getting it. You pay an extra $5 each year to keep the guy (so Deymarius was kept for $17 this year, $22 next, so on and so on)

Having Deymarius for $22 next and Gordon for $12 opens up the chance for me to go after a Rodgers + an elite RB and drop 70 on each though next year. I may just have to stay pat.
 
Interesting. I never did an auction league. Seems like too much work. I'm sure venom lyrix venom lyrix might have insight. Believe he's an auction guy.

Got a verbal agreement for my Cooks for his Fred Jackson :pimp:

Ben Tate or Brandon Oliver? (I have Demarco at RB1 & Hillman at FLEX)


Tate plays a terrible Raiders D this week, but he also played a suspect Jags D last week and scored only 3 points, he's also not involved in the passing game.

Oliver's going to get atleast 20 touches and he's capable of breaking off some long gains.
