OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I offered a guy Golden Tate and Jordan Matthews for AJ Green. Hoping he accepts but I doubt it .

Another dude is trying to gouge me since I don't have a QB. Asking for Tate and McKinnon for Matt Ryan. I'd rather justs pick up Mallet or Bridgewater :\.

Would love some NT help.

12 team PPR:

WR: Julio Jones, Brandon LaFell, Kelvin Benjamin, Marques Colston, Martavis Bryant, Marques Colston (pick 2)

RB: Frank Gore, Ryan Matthews, Brandon Oliver, Bishop Sankey, Shane Vereen (pick 2)

TE: Jordan Reed, Mychal Rivera (pick 1)

FLEX: (pick any 1 from above)

Thanks!
Julio should cook, Bryant is hot, I'd ride him

Gore looks back, the 9ers want to use him. He'll feast on the Giants. Vereen should also be good to go in a shootout against the Colts

Rivera is hot. Ride him

FLEX: Benjamin, even if he gets locked up to start, he'll eventually get a ton of garbage points

For those considering trading for maclin.. I'm pretty sure he is not going get the same number of targets he was getting with foles (10+.. Hell he had games with 15 and 16 targets)

He will still be a priority in our offense.. But chip's whole philosophy is stretching the defense horizontally and vertically and giving a crap load of options based on what the defense gives you..

Foles targeted maclin a ton.. I could easily see mathews being our most valuable WR because the point of the offense is to take what the defense gives you.. Like basketball, if you double 1 guy someone else has to be open.. And if teams focus on maclin and our backs.. Mathews and the TEs will eat.. Or at least they should, as they did last game

Foles only looked mathews way on 3rd downs.. Sanchez is going to the open guy, or the guy that is single covered

I have Ellington and Brando Oliver as my RB'S and James Starks back up. Maclin, Jordy, Marsalis Bryant, Decker, Andrew Holmes at WR...we start 3 WR'S, 1 flex, and 2 RB'S. It's a PPR league 14 teams. I was offered Forte for Nelson....what to do?

Considering how weak you are at RB, I'd lean to pull the trigger. The Bears are a mess though so it's a risk, obviously

Exactly why I've been debating and Forte always seems to get hurt late in season...I'm 8-2 been doing it all year like this...I can pick up montee ball, or Pierce Thomas off waivers as I'm #2 on the order this week.

who to play at my flex, ben tate or bishop sankey. tate playing his old team could mean more touches. jonathan stewart, andrew hawkins and greg jennings are best available right now. smh

I'm probably just being optimistic but I'm not seeing the whole Maclin decreasing in value thing...after preseason games and one regular season game with Sanchez he hasn't preformed like he did with Foles, but let's give it some time. He did have some down games with Foles as well. Be patient.

Don't have time to be patient with the playoffs around the corner

I have the Seahawks D/ST.

Would you guys roll with them this week or drop them for the Steelers @ Ten or Chargers vs. Oak or panthers vs. Atl?

I'd go with Seattle. Although KC doesn't turn the ball over much, I don't think they're gonna score much...I see that being like a 17-13 type of game.

Brandon Mebane is done for the year, that's a huge loss for Seattle D. I have them as well, KC isn't a bad matchup but I picked up the Chargers instead. Seattle hasn't done anything spectacular on the road and KC plays pretty well at home.

Looking at Seattle's remaining schedule, Arizona, SF, Philly, SF, Arizona, STL, I think people can start dropping them after this weekend.
