OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I still might have some hope in Ball. He did earn the starting job at the beginning of the year. Could it be that the O Line wasn't playing as well at the beginning of the season?

And to say he didn't do anything this year:

He got 67 rush, 16 rec 1 td vs Indy D
60 rush, 29 rec vs KC D
and only 38 rush vs SEATTLE D (so it shouldn't really count)

For those considering trading for maclin..

And if teams focus on maclin and our backs.. Mathews and the TEs will eat.. Or at least they should, as they did last game
So would anyone considered picking up Brent Celek at TE? He' s gotten a share of targets and is pretty much hauling them in when they come. is he worthy?

Jonathan Stewart vs ATL or Joique Bell @ Arizona PPR

Stewart got hurt against Philly ... go with Bell unless he is hurt too because i thought I saw Riddick was getting a fair amount of work last game against the Dolphins

Well didnt Ball get the starting job pretty much because he was next in line since they let Moreno go.

Would yall trade ODB for R Jennings or Tre Mason?

I've got Brown, Maclin, and Evans, so I'm fine at WR.

I've got Lacy and then Doug Martin, Hillman, Gray, Andre Williams, and Sims. Running backs are so badddd.

I could see him getting consistently targeted about 4-6 times per.. and a decent option in the redzone.. also expect more consistency from ertz's numbers

foles always seemed to try to get the deep stuff instead of just taking what was right there.. which is the whole point of chip's, pull the defense all over the place.. and get it to the guy with space to do something with it

like in each of the last 2 games sproles had uncharacteristic drops that would have gone a very long way because the defender was already on his hip and trying to make a diving play on him.. and he just dropped it

I'm probably just being optimistic but I'm not seeing the whole Maclin decreasing in value thing...after preseason games and one regular season game with Sanchez he hasn't preformed like he did with Foles, but let's give it some time. He did have some down games with Foles as well. Be patient.
he was still have value.. but I don't see the ball being forced to him 10+ times per like it was with foles..

maclin's value may actually go up because of it, because teams will actually have to account for the other weapons in the offense.. instead of focusing on maclin and McCoy or sproles

but his targets will come down to about 7-9 range.. but I think he'll see more single coverage

I need some help again this week.. 10 person ESPN standard league..

Tannehill or Stafford?

Should I flex Cooks, Asiata, or B. Marshall???

I'm Thinking Stafford and Cooks

Thanks in advance NT

My personal opinion, as I have expressed on here before, no league should give other owners the ability to veto trades.. Each owner should have the ability to manage or mismanage their team as they see fit

However, the one exception where the commissioner should step in is where there is obvious collusion..

Having said that, if your league does allow you to veto.. Use whatever reasoning you want when applying the right you have been given.. If the dude doesn't have a QB and he's playing you, veto it.. If the dude trading rivers already has a stacked team with other QB options and is in your division, veto it.. Hell if you just flat out don't like one of the dudes, veto it

If you are given that bs power.. Then you have the ability to use it however you want

EXACTLY. I accepted a trade on Tuesday to get Drew Brees for my ODB and Joique Bell. Pretty even trade according to the 10 replies I got in rotoworld, but one guy in my league through the biggest temper tantrum. 2 days of calling everyone in our league dumb, uninviting us to his house on Sundays and threatening to burn the fantasy pot money lol. It was actually quite sad and I felt embarrassed for the guy.

He even pulled a cry baby move and traded his Antonio brown, Alfred morris, Ahmad Bradshaw, jimmy graham and Emmanuel sanders to the first place team for Andy Dalton, Wes welker, bishop sankey, Brandon lafell and sproles.

Nick Foles is out so I need help picking a qb choose one Ryan Mallett or should I give Cam Newton another opportunity to disappoint me

Wow. And you guys are ok with the trade he made to the first place team? :nerd:

Hell no lol I commish'd that troll trade so fast.

The big deal he made about my drew brees trade is because I was able to draft cobb in the 5th, stashed josh gordon and stashed ap off waivers. So potentially for the playoffs my team would look like:

Drew Brees
Julio Jones
Randall Cobb
Matt Forte
Adrian Peterson
Rob Gronkowski
Josh Gordon
