OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

For anyone wanting some laughs...

Was helping my little brother with his draft yesterday...here's some "high"lights...

Russell Wilson picked 2nd round...WHEN AARON RODGERS WAS STILL AVAILABLE...

Randall Cobb not drafted until the 49th pick

Matt Prater in the 10th round

Every single owner (other than my brother) drafted two D's and two Kickers...

Brother should dominate the league...he made a trade last night...

He got Aaron Rodgers and Stevan Ridley for Alshon Jeffrey, Jay Cutler, and Martellus Bennett...

I can never understand how anyone can enjoy being in a league with inept/non-competitive owners. Where's the fun in that? I'd replace owners at that point.

Man, maybe I am just trying to talk myself into but am I the only one that thinks Tom Brady can have a Top 6ish QB type year this year?

If Gronk can stay healthy, if Vereen can stay healthy, he has a year under his belt with his new receiving core...

Reggie Bush is being undervalued like HELL this year because people follow every single word that Matthew Berry says. This dude is still the second best weapon on the Lions behind Calvin. Joique Bell isn't AP, and Bush is actually coming off his best season as a pro and playing for a new contract.

nah man, hes still Tom Brady. i expect him to still be top 5-7 qb.

im targeting him late cause i think dudes in my main league will go after manning, brees and rodgers early and reach for kaep and russ. last year i drafted Cam in the 6th round. id be happy with either Tom or Cam if i can snag them that late again. Cutler might be my pick if i truly wait on qb

all valid points, but he also missed games last year.

question is are dudes willing to draft bush as a RB2 in the 2-3rd round or wait on joique bell in the 5-6th?

Joique Bell offers better value in the later round. More goal line carries in a prolific offense, and can run between the tackles as well as catch passes out the backfield. Reggie is good but there is also the concern for injury

word bell and bush literally gonna have the same amount of points again like last season. all about value

This is my team in 12 team PPR and I was the 5th pick. I was going to Draft Julio in the 2nd, but dude beat me to it right before so I settled with Lynch since he was still on the board. Was going to grab Cobb in the 3rd, so I settled with Stacy who I can use at a Flex spot. Overall, it's ok. Not great. This is only a $25 entry fee and Sunday is my big money league.

1-McCoy
2-Lynch
3-Stacy
4-Crabtree
5-Patterson
6-Andrew Luck
7-Terrance Williams
8-Dennis Pitta
9-Hartline
10-Jay Cutler
11-Pierce

stafford is gonna chuck it like theres no tomorrow.

in a league with scoring like that, id really look at andy dalton

I got Bush with the first pick of the 4th round.

He missed two games last year, the year before that he played all 16 and the year before that he missed one game. I swear to god people are still stuck on his days as a Saint. He was the #10 RB in fantasy last year...I expect him to be right there again this year.

Found out this morning that I'll be picking 2nd in my 2 QB league draft.

Probably going with Rodgers to start. That wait coming back is going to be torture.

No chance.

No weapons on offense you can count on. A run game that is not solidified in anyway.

Gronk has to prove he can stay on the field. Same with Amendola. Brandon LaFell has been a what-if guy his whole career, and Edleman has to prove he can do it a 2nd time.

Reggie Bush can't stay on the field.

Stafford, not even close.

Why do you expect that? There's no tangible evidence to expect that.

Golden Tate and Eric Ebron are 2 more mouths to feed + they love Bell and even Theo Riddick is getting touches.

I agree that Bush is a great talent, but I watched a lot of Lions games last year (I'm a big fan unfortunately hahaha) and they just dont use him consistently. And he doesn't miss a lot of games, but he gets banged up a LOT and will exit games for extended periods of time. Not to mention the fumbling.

I'm not taking him this year at his current ADP. way too high.

I just gave you the evidence. The dude hasn't been an injury concern in four years since he left the Saints. He's coming off the best season of his career. He's playing for a new contract. Ebron effects Pettigrew...not Bush. The Lions have needed a legit #2 WR for years, and replaced Burleson with Tate...again does not effect Bush.

As I said....he's still the second best weapon they have. He's still gonna catch 70+ balls. He had over 1,500 yards from scrimmage last year and averaged 4.5 yards per carry.

Theo Riddick ain't **** but a #3 RB.

Would anyone like anymore evidence?
