OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Greg Jennings and James Jones are both on my free agency. Which one has better upside? I'm in need of wide receivers.
 
How did I do.(2nd money league this year) My third year doing fantasy. First 12 team league. Espn with standard scoring. I had the 6th pick.

there was a run on was so I snagged romo. Russel wilson could've been had. I drafted rudolph as insurance on g ronk. I know I'm weak at wr. I could drafted Welker in fifth as oppose to gerhart. Kinda regret that. Told myself id snag decker or m wallace around 7th but they were gone. K wright and some others were available but I choose to wait for bowel or nicks a round or two later. They were both snagged too so I went wr crazy. Hopefully one of those young guys go off.
I forgot which kicker I grabbed.(last of course)
Sorry for long summary just had to share my thoughts.

I can see why you like Mettenberger, I saw flashes at LSU. But for the sake of consistency, I'm ranking it Tanny, Locker, Mettenberger. This is the year I foresee a quantum leap for Tanny in Miami. Playoffs or bust.

Strange roster settings. Esp for a PPR
 
For anyone that saw my post 2-3 pages ago:

Wow now it makes complete sense how I landed Dez and AJ Green in the 2nd & 3rd rounds in this public league of randoms I did for fun last night.

Just happened to peep the scoring settings and noticed WR's only get pts for TD's and 2 pt conversions :rofl: :smh: :stoneface:

That's what I get for not reading the settings before hand. My team doesn't seem so stacked anymore :lol:

If I had known this, I'd have loaded up at QB, RB and TE :smh:

The odds of me actually keeping up with league now is down to "probably not" to "not going to period

Most likely pointless since it's a random league and likely the commish did this to subtly troll but I posted a message to entire league asking if this was intentional :lol:

Caught it when I was just clicking on the player's profiles and viewing their game by game points from last year and was like how the hell did Dez or AJ Green only rake in seemingly 6-12 pts max per game when clearly they did more than that.

honestly, this isnt a good team. 

feel like you reached for ray rice, witten, kaep and probably some bench players.

no shot at you, but this is the reason why there are so many dead leagues...
 
If you join a random league on ESPN, always do a standard one. Not one with league manager settings.

By the time I was picking a TE I was just going at who the top ranked was at that point.

Here my roster for my second league. 10th pick 1st RD. This isn't a paid league, so I'm taking a chance with Matt Ryan. Their offense should be better this year. Ended up with a Eli as a backup for the hell of it:

 10 man league standard scoring and I had the 2nd pick. I'm also in the process of picking up Eric Decker and dropping Kenny stills for him.

I'm a FF nut so may just end up playing for the lol's. Now I just know my roster isn't as stacked as I thought it was.

Yea, that was my bad. I saw it was standard roster and assumed it also meant standard scoring so fail on me lol.

Now I know to be sure to use the filter on ESPN when browsing public leagues to set it to standard everything.
