Seeing Jay in his first 3 preseason games, he only threw 1 INT and that was vs Seattle. IMO going to have a great year. He's got the weapons and pass protection. He just needs to stop throwing on his back foot or flat footed though, and quit gun slinging it like Favre.

Eh, that's debatable. He should be catching a lot more balls this year and if he stays healthy there isn't any reason he couldn't be considered as a top 3 fantasy player

But, you're right, Charles belongs in the discussion as well. I wouldn't go with Forte as #2 but all 4 are as solid as you can get
 
anyone else having trouble with yahoo drafts?

just drafted in my big money league and it looks like it autopicked after my 1st two picks.. the draft central spot is correct, but the team on "my team" is 90% wrong..

I feel like Cutler being overlooked for some reason. He's always been my plan in the 5th or 6th round possible even later if he's available
 
Josh Gordon really could be a huge factor in winning your league this season if he only gets 8 games and comes back down the stretch. NFL needs to hurry with a decision :smh:

I've been reading up on it and I'm very disappointed with how it works. Every day you check off is when the bids will be processed and the winners of the auction will be awarded the players. For example, if you have every day checked, then each player will be available for a 1 day auction and the winner will get the player the next day.

If you have, say, Wednesday and Sunday checked, then the auctions will last from Sunday-Wednesday, and Wednesday-Sunday. So technically you have 2 separate 3 day auctions in which people can bid on players, until they are finally processed and awarded the players on either Sunday or Wednesday. There are NO first come first serve Free Agent pickups. That sucks imo, because if you have a game time decision on Sunday, you won't be able to go and pick a guy up because you have to wait until the next day for the bids on the players to be processed. This is possible on Yahoo, as I'm in a league on there that holds auctions and processes bids on some days, but allows normal free agent adding on others. It's kinda hard to explain, so here's where I got most of the info from if you wanna read it and try to grasp how it works:

Yeah I'm gonna have to figure out a way to implement it or just not use it at all. I'm gonna bring it up to my boys on draft day Thursday night and see if they have any ideas. Sucks because we've been looking forward to the format since we all agreed that the default inverse standings waiver process isn't exactly fair.

At pick 2 before the draft I was very uneasy and unsure what to expect after round 1. My plan was always to draft Aaron Rodgers - backup was Peyton. I was shocked that Marshall and Jordy were still available on the come back and this being a PPR and 6 pts per TD I snatched them up.

A popular strategy this year is to wait on RBs, the talent of RB after the top 5 is really a steep fall. So I did just that because I didn't want to get forced into taking someone I didn't want to simply bc I had a void to fill.

I reached a little for a few players I really wanted on my team because I had to wait 17 picks before my next selection.

So I took Patterson in round 5 pick 42 overall, this was actually a iffy pick for me but I did it bc of his versatility, Norv Turner and bc I had 2 WRs in Jordy and Marsh who had week 9 bye so I had to avoid that. I took Cooks in round 9 - pick 82 overall, probably a round early in this type of a draft setting but he's a guy I NEEDED on my team.

I got sniped on a few picks but mostly defenses I wanted - the same guy took Tampa Bay and Cleveland - both defenses I think will be top 10.

Anyway, this is my draft, I came prepared and adapted. Auction draft next week.
