I dropped Brian Hartline for him...I needed a TE2 just in case Witten doesn't pan out, and I got nothin to lose droppin Hartline

If you had to pick, which of these two defenses would you guys rock with this season? Browns or Bucs? Both are available on the waiver

Neither, play weekly matchups. If I wait til the 2nd to last round (which I usually do), I just end up playing matchups the whole year and look at waivers for the surprise DEF team. There's one every year.

Thinking about dropping Ladarius Green for Tim Wright, and Jonathan Grimes for Lance Dunbar......thoughts?

Ladarius has all the potential in the world but he still didn't do literally anything all preseason. Still looks like the same raw young player. Kinda scared to drop him and he flips the switch and turns into the next Julius Thomas though.

i would if you currently have Gronk. All the other TE's that are based on potential have someone splitting time or ahead of them (Wright/Gronk, Green/Gates, Ertz/Celek, etc.) I had Gronk, Green, and Heath Miller and I dropped Green instead of Miller. Green to me is a similar to Wright, they have to have something go their way to become studs, I needed the consistency of Miller. My other league, I went Olsen then Ertz ahead of Green and Wright. I'm fine with getting a TE on potential if it's your TE2 or you have someone who can produce consistently.

Can I get any advice on my team? 12 league PPR format. This is my second team I have ever made and I am nervous about my starting RBs and TEs. Should I start Boldin in my flex rather than Thomas? How can I go about improving? Thanks

I'd start P. Thomas for now. He's a PPR machine (similar to Woodhead).

I wouldn't buy into it. They pass the ball too much and Demarco will get a nice majority of RB downs I think. Plus in short yard redzone situations it goes to Dez or Witten90% of the time.

thats for sure. thats why either dez or terrence williams is nice to have along with whitten. having one of these guys gives you someone you can stick in your lineup. plus the fact that you are not going to get killed if romo goes down cause weeden can give you some decent play.

yall think i should switch my WRs for wk 1? I'm thinking of switching nelson and boldin since boldin is against dallas wk 1. Tate will get touches because of attention on megatron but if the giants secondary is as good on field as is on paper, it might be better off switching to one of the other receivers on the bench

.5PPR. Thinking about offering my Zac Stacy + Pierre Garçon + Mike Evans for his Doug Martin + Knowshon Moreno/Stevan Ridley + Golden Tate.

My other RBs are Bernard, Woodhead, Hill, and Robinson. Leaning more towards Moreno because I don't trust Ridley.

I played in a league that one of my friends ran last year that only allowed 15 . It's not like I make an astonomical amount of waiver moves anyway, but never again. I don't see the reason of severely limiting acquisitions.

^ Yeah if anything the commish should reset everyone's count when the season starts. And the order should reset after week 1 so you shouldn't have to worry about that unless another Tim Wright or something like that happens .

I also feel like my RB's Ball and Vereen can either be really good or really bad, it's a PPR league so I'm hoping really good. I have Marshall and V. Jackson at WR, nervous about Jackson. My FLEX can be MJD, Benjamin, Hartline or Cotchery. Everyone's down on MJD but for some reason I have a semi-good feeling on him. McFadden looks like absolute trash so I'm not concerned with him.

Not sure about Cutler over Romo, but I can't fault you for making that move. Definitely like him over Rivers. I also think Vereen will cook. I was pissed when you grabbed him 2 spots before me .

There's some questions surrounding him but he was definitely worth a pickup.
