OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

One of my favorite threads. I'll try to contribute as best as I could as I have done in the past. Just get busy sometimes.

2 things.

1) Does anyone need a person in a 10 team draft? Must be for money. 

2) If you have an extra spot on your bench (idk if it's been mentioned before) but please draft Travis Kelce, TE Chiefs. Thank me later. (If it's been mentioned, good thinking.)
 
here is what I would do if I drafted Josh Gordon. You were going to keep him on your roster for 8 weeks at the minimum if he got reinstated. So is a guy like Hawkins going to win the league for you. No. But, a guy like Cody Latimer can make a difference on your team. You might have to stash him for a period of time but in the circumstance of Wes Welkeryou would have a very good wide receiver on your team that could make a difference. It's worth a shot

Guys in the league, try not to offer me uneven trades because I'm just gonna deny them :lol: I'm really not trying to drop anyone and just because I'm not giving the dropped player to you does not sweeten the pot for me. I usually don't do roster moves before the season anyway unless it's an injury.

I've got depth behind him. Megatron and Marshall my other two starters. Cooper, Terrance Williams, Wright, and Benjamin on my bench.

Non ppr 14 teamer, in the second round I think it might be between jordy Nelson, Ellington or Stacy. I like Nelson over them but am struggling with who I like more between Ellington or Stacy. Leaning toward Ellington though
 
What kind of WR's do you guys think are tradeable for rb's like ellington or morris?

I would probably go RB because the depth at RB is pretty thin once you get into the later rounds. You can still pick up some good WRs in later rounds.

FWIW...Matthew Berry said on Twitter to not drop Gordon yet...he can still sue and delay the suspension.

first of all papi, it is not an argument. It is an example. I highly doubt if 50% of the NFL smokes weed. The ones that are caught are suspended and rightly so. There are rules and regulations in every part of society that must be followed. Like it or dislike it that is a rule signed by the owners and player executives
 
If I dropped Gordon and he ends up delaying the suspension and getting to play this year I'm murdering somebody.

Serious.

People fail weed tests because they don't like taking the pain killers the medical staff prescribes them. How it's ok to get your player hooked on pain killers but not to smoke a harmless j after a game is beyond me.
 
the NFL is such a strong organization that I find it very hard to believe that they will let that happen. Josh Gordon's side wanted to make a deal and the NFL would have no part of it. That is why it took so long for the decision to be made. I could not imagine the NFL having Josh Gordon play while there is a delay going on. They would not back down on a compromise.I can't see them letting him play at all.

now that is an excellent point. What I'm stating is the fact that the Players Association and the owners have a written agreement on this. So in the next collective bargaining agreement there should be some changes made. If not you still have to go by what is the written rule agreed upon with both sides
