OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Got Terrence West off the strength of you guys talking about him. He might be a sleepers that actually works out for me. :pimp:

I'm up 27 in my money league.

I got Joique Bell and Cardnials D. And he has Fitz and Detroit D.

Thinking I'm ok but you never know. Especially if Eli pulls a Eli and throws like 4 picks. :smh:

Made a dumb choice to start Stevan Ridley (2 points) instead of Roddy White (13 points)..

Those 11 points could be the difference between winning or losing week 1.. :smh:

I'm happy/mad at week 1 money league. On one hand I won my week, seems like I made a good choice in selecting Matt Ryan but my score was nowhere near the high of the week. I still don't know why I risked taking on V. Jackson as my FLEX but I do have Golden Tate and J. Bell to swap in for him. D. Thomas and Lacy did squat and Lacy got a concussion.

On the bright side, still really really high on Julio, even though he didn't score. He will be lighting it up soon IMO. Lacy and D. Thomas also let me down but I still won my week and I'm expecting them to pick it up too.

I used Cutler instead of Matty Ice and now I am projected to tie with my opponent this week. He still has Calvin Johnson though

and I only have victor cruz

I'm up 96.5 to 59, But he has Philip Rivers and Calvin Johnson still to play.

But I also have danny woodhead and jonathan dwyer to play.

No way I lose this right?

I was up 58 points in the semi-finals of the playoffs last year and my opponent had Jamal Charles versus the Raiders.....and I had my kicker left.  We all know how that turned out.

So basically, to answer your last question......yes there is a chance you lose.

News on Ellington

"Having consulted with three foot/ankle specialists, Ellington still isn't expected to require surgery this season. That leaves him with two likely options, as he can either try to play through the injury, or put on a walking boot for two-to-three weeks. If he goes down the first path, he'll likely be playing through pain, and may be limited in terms of effectiveness and/or snap count. With the second path, Ellington would miss at least the first 3-4 weeks of the season, as he'd need to re-strengthen his foot after taking off the walking boot. The issue is with the peroneus longus tendon in his foot/ankle, and he may eventually undergo surgery to re-attach said tendon. For the short term, he can still try to play Monday night, and then opt for the boot if it doesn't work out. He'll be a very risky fantasy option if he's active Monday."

Bernard pierce ****** me, but my opponent this week had matt ryan, marshawn lynch, antonio brown, matt bryant and vernon davis so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.

Really hope Ellington just sits. Don't want last year's Roddy White or CJ Spiller situation...

Ray Rice may be getting cut from the Ravens with that new video getting on the internet.

Ravens KO Rice...its official

is any team even gonna risk the pr backlash by signing him?
