Joique Bell should be starting over Rainey.

Asiata over Rainey? Why?   Rainey will probably still get the bulk of the carries even IF Martin plays. And the Falcons have been horrible against the run

Definitely prefer Rainey to Asiata, even though Tedford uses a RBBC approach. He was effective last year when Dougie went down, Martin still questionable with a bad knee. Atlanta has been worse than New Orleans against the run this season. Minny might be chasing that game at New Orleans in the dome, increasing urgency to pass.

Would you guys trade my Spiller and Asiata for his Edelman and F Jackson? .5PPR 12 team league.  Trying to get a little more WR depth.  My current team:

I would for the reason you outlined, WR depth. Bell is more reliable in PPR formats than Spiller, who is explosive but mercurial. You still have DeAngelo and Pierce behind Bell. Edelman is fit for a PPR format. Freddy also maximizes his skill-set in PPR. Asiata's value is highest now with the Peterson news unfolding.

Starting Floyd at WR2 if Palmer plays. If he does not, Sanders at WR2.

Asiata in the Flex for Week 3, can get yards on New Orleans' run D. West would normally start for me, but Baltimore is stout against rushing TD.

I think i know the answer to this but can i afford making this trade.

Getting: luck + 10th rd pick
Giving: terrance west + 14th rd pick

My other rbs: ellington, bush, pierce, cunningham.

My other qb: cutler.

Depends if you view West as a keeper, I do. Especially given his low draft slot and small keeper penalty.

Spiller, Miller, Bradshaw long-term over the season.

How long will Charles be out?

Nobody knows. He's not even officially ruled out for Week 3. High-ankle sprains are case-by-case basis.

I traded charles for Arian foster and victor Cruz. Foster gashed the raiders for 20 ( should have been 26 but they threw to JJ WATT) , Cruz got a decent 8, but stayed on my bench.

Even without the injury, good trade. Foster when healthy gets a premium workload, double-digit rush TD potential. Cruz is bound to redeem himself. There's no other receiving options for NYG.

Got offered his AJ Green for my Jordy. Countered with Cruz and Hopkins for Green.

Obviously Green's value is in limbo with the toe injury. Wise counter, I wouldn't part with Jordy Nelson straight up just yet.

Miller. It's his show with Moreno down. Keep an eye on Miller's ankle status. Fins say it's minor. Lazor knows how to utilize speedy backs. KC is 23rd worst in rush YPG allowed through two.

Cousins. I'm starting him in every league I stashed a roster spot for. He should do well with Gruden and a mediocre Philadelphia DEF.

Bobby Rainey went unclaimed. Should i pick him up and hope he beats out Martin for the starting job?

Rainey has value even when Dougie is healthy. Tedford is straight RBBC. Martin hasn't had a 100-yard game since 9/15/13. Rainey rushed for 532 yards and 5 TD in just over half a season last year.

Should i bench Ball vs. Seattle's D? My other options are Vereen, FJax and hopefully Asiata.

I'd only consider starting Vereen and Freddy in PPR formats. Otherwise I'm starting Asiata W3 over Ball.

Would you guys trade Vincent Jackson for TY Hilton

V-Jax is better, although I believe Hilton will have the better season. You're risking more to acquire Hilton based on draft slot.

Someone just offered me Julio Jones and Darren Sproles for my Brandon Marshall and Ahmad Bradshaw. I'm leaning towards not taking it at the moment but wanted to run it by you guys.

I'm taking the Julio and Sproles side. Sproles is proving to be Philly's X-factor. He's difficult to matchup against. Small but built physical, tough. Marshall exposed Jimmie Ward (SF), but Julio is bound for a double-digit TD season in his own right.

Whos the better option long term? Cutler or Luck?

Luck, not close. Running ability, throws less INT.

I'm pretty solid at WR. I'm considering dangling Gordon out there for a impact player thats playing all year. Gronk is a perfect example. Gordon/Pitta for Gronk I'm considering or something like that..what you think?

Assuming it's not a keeper league. 6 weeks of Gordon and Pitta for Gronk? Only if you believe in Gronkowski's long-term health over 16 games. Pitta is going to have a good season with Kubiak. Daniels is already benefiting.

I'd take a chance on Ball in the Flex despite matchup. Khiry is still splitting in New Orleans' backfield, even without Ingram. Vereen is a better PPR play with Ridley getting bulk of carries.

You're honestly not losing much. Mac9 is your fourth best WR. Mathews is shelved for quite a while, and you own his Brown handcuff anyway.

True advice really can't be given because no one has a barometer or precedence for how long Peterson will miss. 6 games, the whole season? Not even legal analysts know how the NFL and Goodell will proceed just yet.

I would do it for the upside, your loss is minimal IMO. Even if AP plays say, 6 games.

I'm lowwww on victor cruz. Had him in his breakout year and also last season. Eli and that offensive line won't allow anybody to flourish, trust me. Then factor in that cruz tends to drop passes and it's all bad. If you can't depend on a guy to produce against the worst ranked defenses it really hurts your chances.

Yes, most will say you should.

I'm unconventional, Miami's run DEF isn't that bad. Middle of the pack, league wise. Wayne should feast on J-Ville's corners. Experienced. 5/100/1 in one game last season vs. Jags.

I'm taking that. Brown is the RB to own with Ry out. Asiata is deputizing for Peterson, but his ceiling isn't as high as some are selling. McKinnon has more upside from a talent perspective in Minny's backfield.

Hurns should definitely be dropped for Bradshaw, Rainey, or Davis. I would also drop CJ2K for one of the three aforementioned FA RB.

I wouldn't drop any of the guys you listed for Rainey, but he's worth a roster spot in most leagues. Especially if you own Dougie. Rainey can play, he proved it in 2013 over half a season.
