OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I got Peyton on a bye this week and have Locker on the bench. With that wrist injury and him not doing nothin the past 2 weeks, should I try to pick up Glennon?
i assume cousins is not a free agent? If not I would consider teddy Bridgewater for the start, especially in 4pt td league. He will score some pts with his legs.

Antonio brown and jason witten for jimmy graham and keenan allen. Who wins, long term?

Jimmy Graham and Keenan but not by much. Jimmy is easily the best TE in the league and will get his. I'm hoping Keenan gets out of this funk with rivers and starts cooking. Witten is worth dropping though, he does nothing in that offense anymore. It's more power run game with Demarco instead of dink and dump.

6 pt td league, but I'm in a 16 team league and Glennon is actually the only QB that is available that is going to start this week.

Any gb te, rudolph, Pitts, Owen Daniels and Jared cook are the best options. @timelessflight

Picking up Branden Oliver as my sleeper this week.

Yes, it's slim pickings in this league and half my team is on bye or injured.

Which D would you guys pick up for this week?

Pittsburgh against Tampa Bay

Detroit against NYJ

Miami against Oakland

Would you guys start Delanie Walker over Joique Bell or Deandre Hopkins at the Flex? The rest of my bench is on a bye. Here's my lineup:

Brees
Sproles
D. Brown
Cruz
Wallace
Graham
Walker

I'm giving Keenan Allen two more weeks before I trade his ***.

Put in 5 waiver claims this week I think there is a good chance I get 4/5 :pimp:

So many decent WW options on defense this week
San Diego
Miami
Pittsburg
Atlanta

Yea i have him too. As a Chargers fan i should have known better.  Rivers spreads the ball around too much, he doesn't force feed it to his "best" target like many of the QB's.  And they play very conservative offense, especially if they are winning the game.  They start running on first and second down and just do little passes to the RB

Going need sankey to go ahead and take that starting job.. Picked him up on waivers with that last performance

Need a WR for this week: PPR

Hopkins vs. BUF
Wheaton vs. Bucs
T. Williams vs. Saints
Floyd or Royal vs. Jax

Leaning towards Nuk. There are some others available too so if anyone got any other options besides those let me know and I'll see if they're available.

In a bit of a pickle with my defense this week. I have Cinci, they've been good, and they're on a BYE, so I don't want to really drop them.

So the available teams I'm considering are the Bears, the Bills, the Falcons, and the Steelers.

Bears face the Packers, who give up ninth most defense points in my league. They also have the most takeaways so far this year. Packers also have scored pretty low this year (18 PPG), but am afraid that they make blow up anytime now on offense. They also have a pick six, and the six most sacks.

The Bills face the Texans, who give up the twelfth fewest points in my league. But for my league, they are averaging 16.7 fantasy points, which is second only to the taken Patriots.

The Falcons face the Vikings, who give up the ninth most points in my league. What's intriguing about them is that the Vikings have been horrible throwing the ball, and have forced the most fumbles thus far.

Lastly, the Steelers play the Bucs, who give up the second most points in my league. The Steelers don't have a ton of turnovers, but still have a lot of potential to have a huge fantasy night agains the lousy Bucs.

I'm thinking either Bears of Steelers, but I'm not sure.

And the even bigger issue for me is who I would drop.

QB- Cam Newton
WR- Cordarrelle Patterson, Mike Wallace, TY Hilton, Mike Crabtree, Dwayne Bowe
RB- Marshawn Lynch, DeMarco Murray, Knile Davis, Alfred Morris
TE- Kyle Rudolph, Larry Donnell
K- Adam Vinatieri
DEF- Cinci

I'm leaning towards either Kyle Rudolph or Dwayne Bowe. Rudolph being out for six weeks really hurts, and am trying to go after either Vernon Davis or Greg Olsen, but I'm not sure yet. Is Bowe the most logical choice to make there?

^ What about:
Ravens (vs panthers with no RBs or an injured deangelo)

Or lions (vs jets)

Or Dolphins (vs raiders)

Or chargers (vs jags)

Chargers were picked up. Detroit has never been available. Ravens taken as well. The Dolphins are available, but unsure of how well they can produce turnovers, even given how inept the Raiders are.

I'd roll with the Dolphins.. Playing in England, which probably means crappy weather.. Defense is more likely to travel and they do have wake, who is still one of the best pass rushers

I'd definitely drop Dwayne Bowe....He is terrible. I drafted him last year and got zero productivity out of him...I made sure to stay away from his this year at all cost too. I'm hoping these early season injuries fade away from my fantasy squad. I can't catch a break right now.
