OFFICIAL 2014 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Got you in now, yvespo.

Shev, don't worry man, I'll make sure the draft is spaced out enough so that you can at least get a chance to breathe between your $$$ league draft, the first NT league one, && this one

Talking about Lacy? Provided he doesn't get hurt, I think he's gonna feast. I really expect GB to be front runners in a lot of their games this year, which should open up the run game that much more for them. As long as he's healthy, I think he'll be more than worth it at #5.

Still one spot open for #NT League Numero Dos, for those who may be interested.

So far, we've got...

1. Toretto

2. MWalker

3. NY Mavurs

4. RoOk

5. TVObach

6. SLP Product

7. Nickmaz96

8. Yvespo3

9. Shevshenko

10. Vcof2005

11. Imanikehead

12.

As of now, voting has leaned toward Yahoo! as the host site, with PPR being incorporated. Should any changes occur, I'll be sure to provide the necessary update(s).

i believe you, health is whats scaring me.

at least last year i had #1 so i had to take Peterson

now its a little harder since i have more options

I'd be down...haven't done yahoo in years though, and never done PPR.

It's cool, last spot's officially yours if you want it. I haven't done PPR before either tbh, so this could go either really well or really bad  it was an even vote on the PPR/standard though so I may just make it standard since the first league is a PPR. I'll have decided for sure by tomorrow morning.

 Yea last year @ #1 was the easiest choice to make in quite some time.

I think what would sway me towards Lacy @ 5 more than probably anything else is that drop-off after he gets drafted; that next tier of backs (not including Lynch, I think he'll be productive for another year or so) are all even more risky picks.

Calvin && Graham are also in play at 5, no doubt. But I just think this is a year where you've gotta get a pair of stud backs early, especially after the mocks I did. I took Jimmy in the first in one, && my RB group suffered horribly for it :x...had me wanting to quit the mock after like Round 4

Thoughts on Lynch, TRich, Morris, and Gio this year?

In addition, since I have 7,20, and 21 overall picks. Should I go RB RB RB and later draft Roddy as my WR1?

Nah..no need. Roddy as your #1 is bad news. youll be left with dudes like mike wallace, Em. Sanders, etc as your other WR2 and stuff.

I'd go WR at 7 (D thomas? megatron) then go RB RB at 20,21.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing. Thanks man!

Yeah I'm definitely down for standard over PPR. Has it already been voted on that it's definitely Yahoo?

Any word on how Brandin Cooks has looked? Dude should honestly be the top weapon outside of Graham on the Saints.

Definitely wanna draft him, but I have no idea where he's being drafted at the moment.

he's doing great and in a perfect spot

Ok; your vote would tilt the majority in favor of standard, which is more than fine with me. But yea, Yahoo has already won the vote as the preferred site.

I'm in if Buc Em doesn't want the last spot, Toretto.

Aight that's cool; if Buc Em doesn't want in, spot's yours. At worst, I got you as first alternate my man.

Your guys' thoughts on Rashad Jennings this year? If he stays healthy, I think he will get a TON of touches...with Wilson being done and Hillis being banged up.

When are you trying to have the draft?

Very tentative date/time would be on August 24, around 6 or 7 pm. Def. not set in stone, however; could do it that following Thursday, the 28th (or even Sunday the 31st, though that seems kinda far out), when we really know who's gonna be the starters for different teams, etc.

I think Jennings will be solid this year, should lead the G-Men in touches out of the backfield. But there is the Andre Williams factor as well; I see him being the goal line back, && getting a very nice share of the carries also, at minimum.

I'd say if you were to draft Jennings, Williams Would be a very ideal handcuff. NYG coaches love him, && he'd have massive potential if Jennings were to miss time this year.
