Jordan Bred 11 Fitment Question

Hi, I am going to be ordering a pair of Jordan Bred 11s soon, but I don't know what size to get and how the shoes fit. I wear a men's 8.5 in regular shoes. As a reference, I also have a pair of 2014 Infrared 6s in a 8.5 and I have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space left in the shoe. Should I stay true to size or go a half size up? Thanks.
