He deserves to eat like a king!
A man who is so poor he only had $1 for lunch found a bag stuffed with $125,000 — but instead of celebrating with a big juicy steak, he gave it back to the security firm that dropped it.

Joe Cornell was volunteering at the Salvation Army in Fresno, Calif., on Tuesday, when he spotted an orange bag in the middle of the street, KMPH Fox 26 News reported.
“I was watering plants and trees when an armored car stopped at the corner,” Cornell said.
“A car pulled up saying that the Brinks driver dropped something, but the armored car kept going,” he said.

Cornell peeked inside the bag — and was stunned to find it was full of cash, he said.
Instead of pocketing it, he called the police and told them it probably belonged to the security firm Brinks.

The cop told him he had a rare heart of gold — that most people would have kept it, he said.
Cornell was inspired to give the cash back to make his family proud, he said.
“I thought, ‘What type of man do I want my grandkids to think I am? I want them to think I’m a just man that does the right thing and I did the right thing,’” he said.

When Cornell’s wife found out, she was so proud of him, she burst into tears, he said.
Brinks officials now plan to give Cornell a $5,000 reward, the Fresno Bee reported.

Just like the 40k couch scenario IDK what I've done, but in this case I would be more inclined to keep the money than in the couch scenario

I would've kept the money and not tell a single person I know about it.

That dude did a good thing though
 
No doubt I would have kept it. Keep it in my mattress and VERY slowly deposit it into my account while using cash for more of my purchases.
 
I can't even front, I'd probably pocket the cash.  Peace and blessings to the man who returned it though.

them bills were marked and probably being tracked anyway...had he spent one or deposited one dollar and they would have been all up on his ***

The man was worried about what his future grandkids would think instead of keeping the money for his grandkids.
