As we all know, NetherRealm Studios has great passion and love for the fighting game community. They have made it clear that they will be in attendance at this year's Evolution Championship Series in Las Vegas come July 11-13 2014. On top of this, Ed Boon and party know their fans are hungry, perhaps starving for another Mortal Kombat X character reveal.

Well, you ask and you shall receive. In a recent tweet from Boon he has replied in his classic cryptic fashion. When asked, "RT @MrSpab @noobde are u guys gonna update us on some news for MKX? Possibly at EVO pls respond D:", Boon replied - now, find the clue. "EB: We're rea11y looking forward to soon."

The word "really" is spelled with ones instead of L's, hinting at July 11th, the first day of Evolution.

alright, someone explain this to me.. why is sub zero always the one that gets killed when he fights scorpion..? i thought that after mk2 scorpion found out that this sub zero wasnt the original one that killed him (noob saibot) and spared his life and became his guardian to fight off the lin kuei (cyrax and sektor)..

i hope they give noob saibot a bigger role in this game and that they give him better moves than in MK9.. cause he was one of the weaker characters, with no real combos...

That Scorpion fatality is kind of "eeehhhh" though. The fatalities should be based on the characters powers or whatever. Not some random plain *** dismemberment/organ removal that pretty anyone can do. Like in MK3 he summons that big ol demon hand. That's creative. I may sound like a crybaby, but these fatalities have been lacking since 4. Like what was the point of throwing a fireball through the their chest????? They doing too much with these fatalities man....

The ones in MK9 were cool though.

Him not being in the game is like McDonald discontuing the Big Mac And without the Big Mac McDonalds is just Burger King MKD was so Burger King How you gone not have Rep Teezy in the game??? Hes just as iconic as Scorpion and Sub Zero. Hes more favoured than any other character in the game except those 2
