Still trying to put some more characters under my belt and have a steady rotation/ play style to keep me fresh at the game. Looking to train some more with Raiden tonight and add Kung Lao the rotation. Later on scorpion and maybe Mileena. Wanna get with Cassie and maybe jaqui but I've been hearing they're cheesy. Speaking of brutalities, how exactly do you perform it. Like what are the pre-reqs lol. I know for his first one it basically just says you have to combo and finish with his electrocute move? Any tips? Also is there a practice option for brutalities?

In the pause menu it tells you the conditions on how to preform them, it's under the fatalities.

They all have different requirements, like Scorpion you have to have at least 50% health and end the fight with an enhanced spear while on the other hand Erron Black only has to do a hold while pressing in the direction of your opponent... I end just about every match with that.

Varies. Ermac has to hit 10 special moves to preform one and a 5 hit combo ending in soul slam for another. Different conditions for every one and character specific.
 
I am not sure what was going on the other night but I did a couple of fatalities that I didn't know buy just hitting buttons. I was thinking that I activating a quick fatality or whatever and I hope I wasn't charged for it :lol:

There are certain requirements in battle you have to meet to finish someone with a brutality. I love that they implemented that because it forces players to mix up there play style as well as separating who's really playing and who's button mashing. Also I like the fact that each character had multiple brutalities like 4-5. They're simple and to the point (though they don't look like the original namesake) I only have raidens first as well as Liu Kang's first. For Raiden you have to use electrocute and press Y ( or triangle on PS4) 3 times while doing the move. Then you use electrocute once someone's health is in danger and keep pressing Y till their head pops. Very nostalgic to raiden's MK2 fatality.

Cliffs: Raiden got pissed because he's always getting punked by Netherrealm and Outworld. So he said **** it I'ma take a more proactive approach.

Basically, instead of being the defender of Earthrealm he's bringing the fight to all the other realms. So he's more or less an aggressor now, similar to Armageddon (I think)

It seems with Quan Chi and Shinnok dead, Liu Kang and Kitana are both "in charge" of the Netherrealm as they were never restored to the "good" side. But Raiden claimed dominion over the Netherrealm, so he's their boss, so to speak.

Kung Lao, according to the ladder ending for Kung Jin, was restored to humanity through Shaolin training.

So it's possible that Liu Kang/Kitana/Raiden are the villains of MK11.
