You know I wasn't coming at you like that blotters. I may be a SF Stan because of the arcade scene I grew up in (which was in the early to mid 90's. Mortal Kombat and SF were EVERYTHING) and the SF tourneys I've played but it's like I can't believe people can overlook SF and talk fighting games. Evo was built off of SF. The competitive fighting scene period was built off of SF
But now smash is taking over

Melee > All other PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube fighting games
The level of mastery some people have in that game is ridiculous. I thought I was good until I entered a tournament. Some people can combo you to 100%+ without you getting a chance to breathe.

Street Fighter/Tekken are waaay more overrated than MK. MK is actually underrated. People bash on it because it's not as complicated as Street Fighter and Tekken (which doesn't matter, because MK is superior in every other aspect)

MK has more clout then Tekken to be honest. MK is not in the least bit "underrated" don't know if you remember how huge MK was in the 90's. The movie(s)....
The whole reason there is an ESRB rating on games....

Tekken is stale now. Tekken 7 dropped and I ain't even know it. Tekken clout fell off after Tekken 4. Besides Smash, BlazBlue, and MK all the current fighters are in need of a reboot.
I've barely played smashed Bros Wii U. Played a couple rounds as Animal Crossing Villager. Dude is dope if you know what you are doing. He basically pushes people off stage.

If someone doesn't like 3rd strike they simply aren't good at it. I'm not talking about evo champ good either, I mean just proficiency in the system. It's just a better version in sf4 minus the garbage OD super visuals and horrible revenge meter.
