I thought MKX was gonna dropped later in the year.
 
That's not even a year away. It ain't too bad. I thought it wasn't coming out until like, late August or something...

If you have been following NRS since the release of MK9 you would know by now that they always release a new game around April. Also it makes sense for NRS to release MKX around the spring that way it can be played at EVO.

This Thursday will be the third time that The Kombat Tether get a hands-on play session of Mortal Kombat X. It will be during EGX in London where The Kombat Tether have confirmed their attendance. Below are links to their two previous articles in which they have expressed their impressions of the game (still in very early development) and the characters themselves.
Here is what The Kombat Tether had to say regarding their trip this Thursday:

[h1]Cassie Cage's X-Ray Straight from EGX in London[/h1]
Out of the revealed roster so far, one of the newest characters to enter the Mortal Kombat arena is Cassie Cage, daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya. Up until this point we have seen a little bit of gameplay and even a fatality... but not her x-ray. Today SnakeEaterDan was able to record Cassie's x-ray at EGX in London.

We should warn you that this is still early in development and Cassie's x-ray could very well be subject to change.

 
With a dry spell of MKX news lately it seems like Ed Boon is finally coming forth again and teasing us with a new character reveal. This time he brings up Beyonce and Freddie Mercury from Queen in a rather bizarre hint.

What is important to note is that his next tweet are lines from the famous Queen song, Bohemian Rhapsody.

Is Ed's spelling of Freddie Mercury's name part of the hint too?

Just who is he hinting here?
