Official: Jordan Retro IV Oreo Thread 2/21/2015 (UPDATES ON PG 1)

When I put these on, I'm not gonna lie, I got a bit nostalgic. The comfort, the look, just the overall feel for them brought me back. They're on their death bed now but back in the day, none of my shoes compared to the comfort of my Black Cats. Used to hoop in them, wear them casually, all day everyday. I'll update my oreos in 9 years and they should look about the same as my cats do now lol. About to rock them nonstop :pimp:

it depends. are you okay with doublesocking? if the looseness really bothers you, you should get a 7.5 imo
the length of my foot fits (if that makes sense) in the shoe. It's really just around the toe box area, it's super spacey in that area. Does your 4's fit snug or a little loose around the toe box? I didn't wanna get a 7.5 and it's just too small.

I'm down in Georgia for the week and I went into multiple stores and they still had them. Pretty surprising. I ended up copping a pair. I thought these would sell out all over.

im a size 11 and I know what you mean. The length of my foot almost fully fills the shoe. i have a tiny bit of space left, but that works out for me because once i put some sneakershields in that will make up for the little leftover space in length.

As far as the toebox, i would say you are right. i have room to move in the area too but not too much. def not snug for me either in the toebox area. peeps in here have mentioned that JB made the toebox wider or roomier on these oreos so that may be the reason why.

go to the store and ask to try on a 7.5 to see how they fit. if they fit better just get those and return the other ones or sell em.

It seemed like a bunch of places around me got a surplus of these too.  Anybody who wanted a pair should have no problem

got mine in from NDC, on the right shoe there's a distinct red paint line on the medial side of the speckled midsole. not really noticeable from afar and honestly i dont really care because im going to wear these a lot but i just dont get where red paint came from because there's no red on this shoe at all? but overall very happy with these. already wore them all day today and that's very rare of me, i still have sneakers from last year i have yet to wear

My girls pair of Carmines had a small red pen line on it too. Looks accidental in the factory. If you want try rubbing it with a very hot cloth.

Dang these shoes are so clean and comfortable that i gotta stress it. The retros from the past couple years have been so hard to break in, they hardly crease and are not as padded. These got a nice cushion, the leather gives and they are like butter to me. I remember reading a book i think maybe around ten years ago. i think Jordan mentioned to Hatfield that he didnt want a shoe that took a while to break in. I am impressed finally.

Once in every couple releases JB does it man.

These shoes are freaking impressive. I can't get over how nice these things are, wasn't even excited to get them finally peeked at em just now whoa just whoa.

Really hope future releases are like this then I'll have no problem with paying these prices.

This is the first time I've ever got a pair with a factory flaw. It's a lot more noticeable in person but because the overall quality of the shoe is great... It's not killing me that bad. I should call NDC and complain a little bit but eh I'm lazy lol. But yea glad I got these. Great all purpose J.
