Lol I was a kid back then. One of the only reasons I was able to afford the shoe. (the columbias, never had the oreos)

Don't forget no netting or plastic tab at the back

I wasn't too keen on them, because I'd rather have just gotten some Flight 89's.

Like I've said, a lot of retro+'s that people would consider flops are desired now.

What made the oreo's, Columbia's, and bling iv's great to me was that buttery soft leather. I know for a fact that these won't even have that feel or texture along with the Columbia's next year. With the eventual price increase and midsole paint chipping it's a no for me. All this means is there will be a flood of oreo's on ebay closer to release time, so I'll grab a pair for a restoration project.

At first glance, this is how I'm feeling word for word. These have been "grails" of mine since I first started really paying attention to sneakers back in'07, so it's a little disheartening to see them come back looking so rough, but such is life I suppose.

Hopefully you're right and this release does cause people to unload their '99 pairs for the low.

That is why I passed on both when they came out and the fact that they weren't original coIorways. I never thought they looked right. I would pass again if they didn't have netting.

Cop, or should I say attempt to cop as folks will be all over these, even if the leather is crap.  I love the IVs and missed out on a bunch, will attempt.
 
This is gonna confuse all the kiddies who called the Fear IVs 'Oreos'.

Nike needs to implement a sneaker history quiz in place of CAPTCHAs.

Answer 3-5 questions right within an allotted amount of time before you can add to cart.

This lowkey gets me mad, as irrational as it is :lol:

Especially whenever I'm searching for a pair of Oreos and those weak *** Fear IV's are all in my results :smh:
