Nike Zoom Run The One - UPDATE: Not official Harden sig

Got a pair of these recently.  Great lockdown, forefoot zoom, light, but durable synthetic for outdoor usage.  Pretty good shoe.  Better than the crusaders.  No annoying tongue, or heel tabs.  Got the black pair.  Wish there was more colors.

i'm going to be looking for a pair to replace my crusaders.  i sized up .5 to overcome the weird fit of the crusaders, should i do the same for these?

Honestly, I don't know how to refer people for sizing.  It all depends on the shape of your foot, and how each model is built.  Also how you like the fit of your hooping shoe in regards to your game.

Typically I always run true to size in Nikes because my foot isn't too wide, or too narrow.  A lot of Nikes since 2010 have been built very narrow.  Particularly KDs.  But I was an 11 in the Crusaders, and I'm an 11 in the Run The Ones.  I hope that answers your question haha ...

But like I said it all depends on what feels comfortable to you playing ball.  I can see going a half a size up due to the innate snug fit of this model.  Which fit like more beefy, durable socks practically.  But even though I do a lot of cutting on my drives, primarily being a penetrator ... I actually prefer a tighter fit, so long as a I have a thumbs length of room in the toe box.  Anything larger than that moving a size up feels sloppy on the court, and like I'm sliding all around inside the shoe.

Overall these are better than the Crusaders IMO.  I've been wearing my black pair to play outdoor pick up since my girl bought these for my birthday.  $100 is a moderate price, but all Nikes are way too expensive.  If none of you need a pair of outdoor hoop shoes, or are obsessed with only playing in low tops like me.  You should wait till these drop in price some.  Ideally they should be around $80 IMO.

had to call up an online rep to order a 12.5, all those in that size have dried up online.  i'll let you know how they are come next week.

just got em today.  ordered as a successor to my crusaders which have recently become my go-to beaters.  feels pretty much the same besides a now-existent ankle collar.  at the moment i don't like how my outside ankle sits but i imagine they will soften up as i wear them.  took a look inside these and they are VERY well ventilated.  traction feels the same on these as the crusaders, however the outside part of the toe has a little extension of rubber that wasn't so pronounced in the crusaders.  these are great for the price, look great, and i would recommend to anybody looking for a solid low top ball shoe.

what do you mean how your outside ankle fits? is it cutting into it? Im tempted to get the same pair. I played in the kd 7 but im not really feeling them. i had the black grey crusaders but I didnt really care for the color placement and the booty was kind of weird.

it's just how far it rests forward on the collar, might have to do with sizing .5 up, but i imagine it will be fine after some play time.  the booty is still very much present, it's just less easily noticed because it's encased in a shoe, rather than being clearly separated.

Agreed about the KD 7...not really feeling them for playing in. The heel to toe transition is somewhat awkward playing ball in.

These look to be as low as my favorite basketball shoe of all time, the Kobe 8, and I did like how my Crusaders felt playing in so I might give these a shot.

The grey pair and the blue and volt pairs are both :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

I'm really tempted to buy a pair of these. I like Nike putting up some simpler models, since I'm not that much into flywire-lunarlon-tech stuff.

However, I have the crusaders and although I don't have that wide of a foot, those were a bit too narrow for me. I couldn't lace them up as tight as I wanted without my midfoot cramping up. Are these as narrow and tight as the crusaders or a bit more forgiving? If there's even a little more room in the midfoot, these would be perfect for me.

Thanks for the info Jeff -- it's a pretty good lookin PE.  I've got a pair of crusaders so I've held out on this shoe, but may cave one of these days
