Asked a nike employee this week and he told me they will release on the 28th May

I'm waiting too 

So Nike Europe release the Elevates on that date, and the Rose/Gold a week later?

I hope the above info is correct...but something doesn't seem right.

It's more than likely going to be one those in store only nike lab impossible to get releases anyway.

I figured as much. But any news of a US release would be posted on blogs and such. I haven't seen anything.

I think when they did the Milan HTM release there was a quick mention of a summer US release but that's it.

I live in CT. I'll try and see how many pairs I can get to help you guys out but the store is really strict on buying more then one pair of shoes, only on sale items its 1 per person. I know the managers so i'll see if can get additional pairs. I'll post what sizes they have left tomorrow if they have any.

So i have a couple X's in a 7y and I recently just got the flights in a mens 7. Is it me or does it fit different? And the tongue on the mens 7 doesnt seem to be as big as they are in the 7y. The mens 7 fits way better for some reason.

i have no experience in the area other than having worked at a shoe store before, but my guess would be that the fit is different because the mens 7 was made using the mens last and tooling and the kids 7 was made using the kids. GS and mens sizes usually have differences in build such as the midsole technology, upper and overall articulation.

I know its a little randon but am I the only who hates how they don't usually have purple and yellow on the same cw. I know Kobe has stated before he generally likes it when a shoe has yellow accents to it or purple not both. I sometimes that takes away from the potential of classic cws. I was thinking what they could do with the elevates or some of the other cws.

I think it depends on the shoe and the different hues. I'm a huge fan of the elevates and I like how the volt looks like a lemon yellow rather than the canary yellow on the Showtime IX.
