I'm looking to buy my first pair of X's, in terms of fit are the elites more comfortable then the regular X's? Also which do you think would last longer material wise?
 
Trying to get my Dad some Blue Lagoons for Father's Day, think there will be a sale on these soon? I saw Footlocker had a sale on the grade school sizes so maybe an impending sale coming soon?

The bay doesn't have a size 8 cheaper either.

The CS rep gave me a 15% code that I used on my Rose Golds. I got fabric glue and put it back on but now it looks like your fingers after you sat in water too long lol.

I wouldnt say poor quality control, you just happen to have a bad apple of the bunch. Bonding dissimilar materials isnt easy and just the stress alone from walking yes walking makes even it worse on them. 

I seen this as a potential issue on the IX FKs but hasnt happened yet on mine

Use a heat gun if theres still adhesive on the reflective swoosh or just return them. Its suck but theres a solution to your problem

 Definitely going for the Elite Lows though if the cw's are good (that pink and grey is what I have high hopes for)

I placed an order with them late last night. I'm just waiting on the tracking information.

They said they ship out next day so I should be receiving them by the end of the week. 

First purchase with them so I am a bit skeptical. 
 
Got mine in today.

On first fit they feel a lot better than the non-elite.  They feel more snug and the cushioning seems more firm (which I personally like - hate the soft mushy feel).  Lock down is great and so far it I get the impression the shoe addresses a 1-to-1 with my foot i.e. the transition is seamless. 

For me they do fit big, slightly bigger for those with narrow feet. I am usually a 9.5 but opted for a 8.5 in the elites.  I could've gone with an 8 for a super snug fit.  But the 8.5 gave me an option to double-sock or allow for strapping if needed.  I like to minimise any sorts of heel slip or lateral movement, as that just subconsciously puts me off my game.  However you do want a little movement and flexibility.

Can't wait to give these some game time on the court and see how they perform.  For me the VIII and the Nike 2K4 are my benchmarks, which will be tough to beat.  I wasn't quite a fan of the non-elite, they felt like boats and the 1-to-1 was missing. 

If all goes well could look into copping a pair of the Elevates on the cheap and just beat on those.

I just PMed Mister Friendly some valuable info to make him feel at ease about ordering from them

Im waiting on tracking also

Spoke with him earlier and he said he had alot of orders for the golds so he'd be notifying all with the info

He also said he would let me know abou the FK lows once he knew how many pairs he'd be getting

I can PM u the info too if you'd like so uwont be skeptical
