Not that it'll look too different but that USA pair is a GS size...the shape is slightly different...and only one lace hole at the top near the tongue
 
Fist off, I loved the IX. Like 29ish pairs loved it.

Butl, I hadn't bought any X's till the Rose Golds, mostly because I'm not crazy about them aesthetically, and the CW's have not been impressive (although I do begrudgingly like the Silk and Easter CW's), but let me just say, as far as the FK highs go, I'm now a believer! Fit great - more TTS than the IX's, feel great, the tongue stays up even without laces across it, looks great, and even with no show socks the high collar didn't bother me.

Might grab the other two for cheap off eBay or if they go on discount. May actually double up on these.

I wouldnt say poor quality control, you just happen to have a bad apple of the bunch. Bonding dissimilar materials isnt easy and just the stress alone from walking yes walking makes even it worse on them. 

I seen this as a potential issue on the IX FKs but hasnt happened yet on mine

Use a heat gun if theres still adhesive on the reflective swoosh or just return them. Its suck but theres a solution to your problem

Saw this happen in the gym the other day, and it should not happen on a shoe that costs 180. Cheaper shoes in other lines seem to not have this issue, and if they haven't perfected the process, they should not sell it.
 
I know there is a lot of mixed feelings on these Kobe USA's. I actually like them but I will wait for discount. After paying retail for the blue lagoons and blackouts, I am not gonna pay retail for any low. Even it means I miss a pair. I really want the Rose Golds but have to pass for now due to unexpected bills.

Im really hoping that they aren't long like the lows but I have a feeling they will be. I have a narrow foot so length is usually a problem if they run a tad big.

I dont doubt what youve seen but every brand of a mass produced product has issues. In my world they call it "80/20" with expectation 20% will fail for whatever reason. 

It sucks to be in the 20% but thats just how it is when you want cheap items

If the blocking was just basic Blue and Red I think it wouldve been a lot better. 

I like the gold outsole but the flag print is a bit much 
 
I've been on the site for a while now and never posted but seeing the USA pair makes me sad. Was looking forward to it cause of the CWs. But Nike went from plain and simple with the cw and now they doing too much with the USA pair.
Got these 4 pairs of x for now waiting to pick up the rose gold.
I was a big fan of the ix got like over 10 pairs.
I am really excited for a nice cw for the fk low

Those USA Kobe's are straight, nothing too fire but decent.. To dude with those Flight Pack Kobe x's with the swoosh peeling off, take them back to your local Nike (if you bought them there) and they should exchange them for you.

My Rose Golds came in today from Hanon. $193 shipped. I actually purchased the Kobe Mentality to hoop in today because I forgot my shoes and always heard good reviews on them. Fit is more TTS on those and the Elite 10s for me. Elite 9s were a tad roomy and the 10 lows are very roomy if not laced tight. I'll probably start hooping in the 10 lows to compare, but the Mentality are beasts on the court on first impression. They replace my Kobe VII Gold Medals which crept into the pic.
 
Those Bred Kobes are the best looking Xs so far.

Those USA.... nothing like that piss yellow sole.

Want cheap items? So a 180 dollar shoe is now considered cheap?
