Kobe 8 looks like a fake version of 5s.

Don't get me wrong I've grown to like 5 but they have that look about them to me. There isn't really a distinguishing feature about that model look wise.
 
6>8>9>5>10>7


7 has a horrible fit but some great CWs.

9 gets the edge over the 5 because the fuse upper tears too easily.

Love the 6 and 8 but 6 gets the top spot because it fits my foot perfectly, as if it were made just for me.
 
I'm not hating on the 8s whatsoever here to be clear just in the tradition of ranking on this site and sneaker lovers everywhere the 5 got em on shape, you said their isn't anything aesthetically really happening with the 5s and that's probably my favorite aspect of them is their clean lines and again overall shape, the 8 is extremely streamlined and lower than the 5 the 5 pulls off being a low while being more beefy if that makes sense

Sure I'll respond lol, owned a pair of blackout 3s and wore em till the toe seperated from the outsole, I for one enjoyed the spiderweb unorthodox look of the shoe but for me his line didn't reach greatness until the 5 as a model I went nuts on and scooped every cw I could get my hands on
 
There isn't another Kobe in the line that comes close to the Kobe 8.

You can take the Top 5 of every colorway and they wouldn't matchup to the Top 5 Kobe 8's.

Lastly, there isn't another Kobe in the line that identify's with Kobe and the "Black Mamba" persona, better than the Kobe 8.

Love the 1s and 2s. 7 colorways with the 8s comfortability would have likely been the GOATs. Still bought 4 pairs of the 7s though :lol:
