NDC did a test on a new raffle/drawing system with Jordan VII Bordeaux tonight. It basically failed miserably.
 
How did it fail miserably? Some people won, most didn't... seems more fair than letting ATCs rip all the releases to shreds.
 
People reserve with intention of buying. Some people use multiple accounts. Its annoying really.

I guess its a little better than trying to get through on a Saturday morning.

Yeah it was cool for them to test it out but should have been on OVO's imo.

Both my Niketowns have Bordeaux 7's Sitting, FSR's too. Hype wasnt as high as it was around RD, most you wanted copped already, some were just trying to test out system and not really pickup so imo results are a little skewed for me.



However if the do try it for OVO's and i win, All flaws out the window. :lol:

there is no hype on these. they're gonna be everywhere, but still gonna grab them on release date. this is the first Kobe X i actually like that released in US. 

Lakers CW tho, it might get people to think it's redundant with the moonwalkers.

Everyone likes to say no hype, but there was enough hype that people bought early from "resale" type vendors. We'll see - my strategy is the same as usual - cop on RD, if they go on disco I buy another pair and return the first pair.

Despite not being an early fan of the X, I love the FK versions, I think as much as the IX - the X just hasn't had the CW's to compete.
 
$135 is a dope price for those on the hunt.

If there was hype for these sneakers, that "$230 or whatever" would be closer to $300+ and nobody would be selling below retail either.

There's hype it's just a huuuuge GR. like Bordeaux 7 for example people have been wanting those and they drop in huge numbers so you can still score for retail now

I guess we just disagree, or at least disagree about what constitutes "hype" in this case. (We all know what serious hype is, that's not what I'm debating). I think buying above retail at any price, pre-release, is hype. People got worked up that they wouldn't be able to cop on RD, and some bought above retail. YMMV.

There's hype in terms of every other Kobe X release.

However, $230 isn't hype. It's $10 over retail.

Any pics yet of the Purple/White elite low?

Saw City Gear has it on their website for Oct. 24th
