Both sittin at my local ftl, wuz able to grab the kobes with ease!! Guy in the store said dey opened at 8am n only 5 ppl were there 3 bought corks n 2 bought kobes!!

I kind of want the Mambacurial shoes but not at $200.
Nike has done a good job this year of either over producing their models or not coming up with the right designs to generate hype for the product. I will try to scoop if they ever make it to clearance.

The shoe is HOOOOOT PInk, that in itself is going to turn most away from these! I personally like the design/colorway but I am wondering where and how I am going to rock them. It doesn't compare to the 8 but it would have been hard for Nike to replicate a instant classic. All in all, its a good looking shoe but I can truly understand why they are sitting. Replace the pink with blue, red, yellow, purple..... pretty much anything but "HOOOOOT" pink and its an instant sell-out IMO. Congrats to those who copped.

The pink on this shoe doesn't turn me off from it. It's the $200 price! Especially for a mass produce shoe that is likely going to go on sale. All of the elite pairs have looked pretty nice actually. I'm waiting for them to hit the $120 price point and it'll be my next hooping shoe.

Picked mine up this morning from my local shop here in the Philippines (Titan).
Tried on my true size 9.5 which fit a tad snug for my taste, so I decided to go with a size 10. I probably could have gone with my true 9.5, but I like to have a little more space in the toe box. I say they're a little larger than the Kobe 9 Elite Beethovens, but not by much.
My first pair of Kobe 10s, and unfortunately probably my last. Unless there's a colorway that drops later this year that's mind blowing... or if the HTMs randomly drop here in Manila (highly unlikely). Still would be cool if they released a "Hollywood Nights" colorway...
I like the color blocking and overall look of these Mambacurials. Would probably have gotten them even if they didn't have the Mambacurial tag on them.
Also like the fact that there's little hype for them. Really felt good to just walk into the store, try on a few pairs, and chop it up with the workers for a few minutes.

Honestly. The curials grew on me. But still just not worth spending the 200+ on these. I like em, but don't love me. Hope everyone who wanted them copped

There's nothing wrong with feeling good because you got a item that has hype. Having something exclusive or something many want but don't have is exciting.
Hype is only funny when a person is only buying into it because everyone else is. They don't particularly like the product but because everyone else does, wants it. Sheep mentality.

On further inspection I like the Kobe seath jacard pattern better than the all over x, but I'm not gonna like the $250-275 so will def wait for discount

Bought these and the Drill Sergeants at regular retail, but will keep an eye out. Picked up the Team, Elevate and Rivalries on discount. Only high I didn't wait on was the Rose Golds. Glad I didn't, when they did go on discount at a couple places my size was already gone.

Mambacurial 8's were perfectly executed. Nike could've done many different things to make the X's look like Mercurials, but managed not to.

Picked up the curials with the LA box today. Will take pic later. Was told box originally was limited to 24 box FCFS, but they manage to get around 30-32 boxes.
Came with a ugly hat btw.
