I don't get how lakers fans complain every year there is no team colorways. Last year was the show times, moon walkers etc. this year it's elite high and blackout. Does it need to be like an exact reputation of the laker jersey and add on the nba logo to be consider a proper cw?

I see what your saying but as a laker fan we are looking for both purple and gold/yellow. The showtimes did a pretty good job with this even though technically it has an orange. I feel like every model should have a classic home and away. The moon walkers are amazing, I love them but they don't really stand out as a laker colorway. It can be applied to any team that wears purple. Its the purple and gold/yellow that does it for me.

i do too when it comes to signature models, but i think these couple years we're at a day and age that the CW on these models have absolutely nothing to do with the team anymore. lol

the masterpiece 9 had nothing to do with lakers cw. the 5am has nothing to do with lakers. the KP lebron 11 had nothing to do with Miami, the NSRL 12 had nothing to do with Cavs. KD 7 initial released in a USA cw? the KD8 in an all red CW that has nothing to do with Thunder. Russel Westbrook designed some absolutely terrible cloth...oh wait...that's something else.
 
Team color ways should be possible whether first or last.
If you can release all these loud *** colors, you can release a Purple/Gold straight up.

I don't really mess with my team colors like that because I don't believe in matching like that but I think the five was the Last KD with a true Okc color way With the elite low.

I don't really follow the KD line like that so I may be wrong

Edit: quick google search tells me I'm wrong, yea give those Laker fans a true team shoe if they match like that

blk/white with yellow detail would be dope. the del sol 4 was the last kobe that i truly liked.

I guess the KD's are always going to first release the USA cw, but there is going to be a Lakers Kobe 11 
 
KBXI cws will be more like what people expect to see.

Golds, purples, yellows etc.

Also the base or EM model should be $160 and less cws than elites this yr. a la IX model.
 
That 2nd black pair is literally all we're humbly asking for lol

Have a feeling Nike is gonna go all out on the 11s. The tinker hiring, the 10s almost beiing very similar to the 9s, crappy lebron 13s to give way for Kobe's last sig shoes...
