The 2nd blk and the Greg man smh. That's exactly what I'm talking about, can I get that. All the laker gear I got, I gotta wear my PDFs on game day all the time and y'all know how uncomfortable the 7s are. Guess I gotta go on eBay and cop show times.
 
Sold my showtimes, after the fever of getting every cw I could get my hands on they ended up not making the cut after the dust settled

he just likes shoes, he doesn't have the cw passion, if it speaks to him then he's on it, he picked up the asg (those things ugly) and ran thru them bcuz he liked them so much, he's also not afraid to say what he thinks is garbo either, for instance I agree I have no love for a lakers cw, give me a Spurs, Mavs, or Rockets cw and i'd buy them bcuz I love TX, also give me anything with ext in the name and I turn into a crack head sucka worse than Pookie from NJC

, outside of the exts I don't really like kobe shoes or really many shoes at all, alternative materials like suedes and leather and stuff like that yup that's me, I do need a flyknit kobe bcuz I want a flyknit shoe other than my pt shoes (fkam) but I've yet to get a colorway that really says buy me and unlike everyone else, I didn't like sole of the 9, I think it was garbo espc compared to the X, I want the 2s just bcuz of the leatherish material and the strap (i'm a sucka for straps sometimes

I still remember before those released people were *****ing that there's no laker colorways..

They literally took the same colors off the jerseys to create that shoe and people were saying it wasn't good enough. What more do you want? It was executed well with the flyknit pattern that people are so thirsty for too!

You can't please people on here. If those PEs released, they would sit just like the rest of the model. People want what they can't have.

I'm not even a Lakers Fan per say, but the Colorway and Execution was so Dope, they're the Best Flyknit Kobe 9 EASILY, IMO.

Feel the same way about most of those PE's up there... it's not that I'm a Lakers Fan, it's just the CW and Execution is so SICK, it can't be ignored!

There's no volt in the Lakers color scheme, but it's so infrequent that we fans get a purple AND gold colorway that wasn't a PE. Nike had gotten so lazy that the Del Sol colorway has gone extinct as well inexplicably.

the showtimes that released never had volt.

the unreleased pair did have volt.

it was a true lakers colorway.

huh? the showtime had orange-yellow. no volt there. i thought they represented the Lakers cw pretty well. 

BUT more than anything a simple wht/blk-del sol like the 4,5,6 doesn't hurt. just can't beat blk/wht/yellow combo on a Kobe signature. Nike now are more focused on selling people a story about the shoes color rather than a simple Home or Away CW for the team.

Home or away colorways only appeals to a small group of the market. Random colorways will reach a much bigger audience than just lakers fans. It's business
 
Umm I'm almost 100% positive there's hints of volt in the toe on my Showtimes I'll double check when I get back home. Also there's no orange in the Lakers color scheme either :wink:

Showtime's and masterpieces are still on my to cop list when I get some free cash
 
A black/gold-purple (Hollywood Nights) and/or White/Gold-Purple (to match the alternate white lakers uniforms) elites would be worth something to me.
