I think they'll look dope once we get the final product's picture, but lunar in any part of the shoe is going to make me refrain from copping
 
i don't understand why it's not made from flyknit, why take a step backwards if the flyknit was such a big big hit and as such a "revolutionary" tech
 
If they are anything like Lebron's early pics there won't be many changes from the final shoe....

Because flyknit was made for the Elite. People like you treat the Elites as the main model when it's the EM's. 
 
I mean it could be a gs...that might be why it's so bubbly looking lol but idk I just expected it to be sleeker or "snake-like"

Yea, I guess so, but when I read "180 see-through air bag" in the description the other day, this is not what I expected.

Regardless... we still see No Sleeve. But if that truly is the Midsole & Air Unit, then we're basically getting the KD V Elite treatment:

Like I said before, I really think those are VERY EARLY Samples of the Kobe X...

Knowing how hard they go for Bean, especially w/ the IX's, I don't think they'd leave him w/ something like that.

The traction on those look quite similar to the Kobe 8 elite ps. So those probably arent mens
 
First off ....how and the hell can Kobe ball in lows. He needs support. He's not 21 anymore. 2nd of all...im a fan of nike shoes but these Kobes are all look the same. The 9s were the most drastic change in a minute.. the flynit was super dope. Now they come with this X. The image to me looks like a sample kd that was rejected and didn't make the cut . Its nothing to this shoe at all.  I hate to jump the gun. I hope this isn't all to the Kobe X....smh

Funny because I have this exact pair and didn't even think of how they may have got the idea from it. They would perform as a basketball shoe but this is not a good looking Kobe at all. It is like back to the Adidas days they said.
 
I'm thinking that's the non elite version. Basically the em.
I'm gonna guess the elite will have flyknit. Why not make the x with flyknit? Doesn't make sense unless kobe didn't like the performance. And I doubt that's it
 
Since I don't see a size tag, these have got to be something else, or a sample. Good news is if these turn out to be them. I can just keep playin in the elite 9's.

looks like they're using the same or similar material on kyrie irving's shoe. it looks like really thick EM
 
I'm sure some will disagree, but I'd gladly take a well-made, soft/yet supportive EM/fuse upper over the flyknit backed with fuse upper that you have on the Kobe 9
 
^It's actually not flyknit backed with fuse, just additional glue that Nike uses on some of its woven type of bball uppers for extra support/structure. I know Nightwing2303 brought that up in a couple recent posts or videos he had after he talked to a Nike designer. I think people just assumed it was fuse in the beginning because of how stiff it is out of the box and takes a few wears to break in.

But I get where you're coming from. I don't have a strong preference either way as long as the upper gets the job done.
