Compare the shapes. This years model > last years.
The mesh colorways were all "meh" surely not worth anything over $140. Elite lows are beautiful.

Waiting until I see more colorways to make that judgement call but I'm liking what I'm seeing so far with the X HTMs. I personally wasn't even that gaga over the IX HTMs aside from the mc and then they eventually put mc on ID.

Kobe Elite 9 > Kobe Elite 9 low > Kobe X in any form. I love all 3 models but the shape of the X is quite weak compared to the 9. If you wanna make a fair comparison compare the HTMs to the HTMs. White/gum destory all 3 Xs.

I like the mix of flyknit colors and details on the HTM IXs more than the HTM Xs, at least based off of pics so far. I do like the cushioning on the Xs a lot though, and it seems like the upper will be more flexible and comfortable than the IXs. Curious how many GR elite lows we'll be getting this year.

I agree with this. The X does look like it will perform better and the flyknit will have more function than form when compared to the 9.

I wonder why there are no black soles. HTMs look great. I personally like the X over the IX just from a performance perspective. As far as looks go, I don't think there's that big of a difference. The Xs remind max flyknit and I hate how those look. I think I'll just wait for the flyknit low IDs and be done.

Does anyone else feel like a pinch or a weird flex in the midfoot on the X? Idk if I tried on a size to small or something but the way it flexed just wasn't comfortable to me.

He's just there for work. Drove from Frankfurt, Germany to Milan this morning. Has meeting's all tomorrow there but if free today. I told him it wasn't a big deal and that he doesn't have to stand around there but he said he didn't have anything to do anyways. Funny thing is I'm a shoe collector but have never waited in line for a shoe release. My brother pry has bought 1 pair of shoes in the last 3 years and he's standing around with all those sneakerheads haha.

Totally agree man, the X elite looks dope.. But definitely not as good as the IX's. The FK's weave looked better on the previous model. I think since the X was such a let down from the start, it makes it feel like these are a godsend. While I still think they're nice, I just don't see any pair which I'd like to have more than the White and black multicolored HTM IX's.

Hey Nike make sure Milan gets ALL the best “Mutli” colorways, and we get all the solid colorways, but be sure to give us a “Multi” limited release on Nike ID…with the higher ID price point too! Thanx Nike! ….SMFH

Question for the brethren in the know..will the elite lows be in kids/womens sizes? The EMs came in kids (like the IXs did) but the IX elite lows did not. Have there been any full flyknit nikes to come in kids yet? Kinda hard to get matching elite Kobe's for the little footed women in your life.

There were gs sizes of the IX elites but they were not flyknit. Unfortunately it does not look like they are going to make any of the gs sizes with the flyknit. They might do a gs model of the elites but no for sure word yet.

Whoops I meant the IX elite lows didn't come in gs sizes. The gs IX elite highs they did were a horrible implementation.

Me too, especially considering when the MC restock happened with the 9s, I just sat around like a dunce watching it unfold, and not even thinking to get in on it. Not going to make that mistake again if we see MC options this time around.
