There use to be some great commercials back in the day. The only recent ones that were remotely funny were the Lebron ones if memory serves.

Kobe's had a few pretty good commercials. The footlocker one for the 9s wasn't too bad, but that wasn't directly from Nike per say. The last memorable ones he had to me were those Kobe System commercials for the VIIs.

I loved the Nike freestyle commercials with Vince and Jason Williams among others, made me really get into Nike when I was in middle school. Still the greatest commercial of all time for me, not for sig shoes though...

Anyone else thinking that the designs aren't that fantastic? IMO from the Kobe 6 it hasn't been that different every year. Bit boring imo. Also was disappointed by the new Kyrie Nikes. Just a mix of a kobe and hyperfuse. Need some new exciting stuff!!!! Like Jordan from the 1 to the 11 and so forth completely different shoes.

The Kyries are his first shoe, and frankly they're pretty nice for a first signature model. Yeah youre right! Main thing i wanted to say is that its a bit boring. And if jordan could be different woth every model 30 years ago. I aspect that Nike could do it for sure now [emoji]128076[/emoji]

Maybe the variety exists because there are almost 30 years worth of Jordans. If you take a small sample set, the designs feel like a progression from one to the next, eg 2s through 4s or 5s through 7s.

You can do the same with Kobes, eg 5s through 8s. But none of those models are anything like the 1s.

Is there a reason almost every Nike signature shoe has the swoosh right at the middle? Older 90s shoes and early 2000s didn't do this so much. I remember reading on here it had to do with Jordans not having that huge swoosh and Nike regretting it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Forgot the exact reason. 

I find it so boring and unoriginal at this point. The swoosh is a great symbol no doubt. But it's constantly in the same spot and even when its in a different spot it's this gigantic thing. The KD7 at least had it a little different even though it was nothing original.
