Kobe X Official Thread Elite Series ‘Elite Team’ April 18th, ‘Elevate’ May 15th, ‘Rose Gold’ June 5

Wore these for a 2nd time last night and they're very plush on the feet.  They're not as low to the ground as the Kobe 8's.

I feel like the shoe isn't quite an extension of the foot and it feels like there isn't any transition from the upper.  This could require more wear in time though, or maybe i'm just not used to it. 

Switched back to the 2K4s at half time smh lol.

Either way, basketball shoes are basketball shoes. If they're used for that you didn't "waste" anything

I agree to a degree. Basketball shoes should be able to be played for basketball. They can definitely be used as casual too. But when playing them in bball, I expect them to get messed up. I don't have a time frame, but people will step on my shoes or the material will break down on its own from the stress put in them in game. It is sillie to expect no exterior damage. That's all external in the beginning, but as long as I can still play in them in multiple games for at least a year, I got my moneys worth.

So yes, I know shoes deteriorate. The rate they do so is how I play and how they are manufactured. If I want shoes to stay pretty I will casual them. I am smart enough to know when shoes are balled in, they won't stay pretty.
 
ASG might be discounted again later, if i had to guess..but prices now are good

I feel like im the only one who isn't in awe of the " black out "
Moonwalkers are 1000 times better.
Shoe is very very plain imo and dull.
I guess I had higher expectations.

Its a solid purple Kobe bro... its classic.

Also, If I recall correctly, it wasn't too long ago when everyone was ranting about how much better the gradient purples were than the moonwalkers. Things change bro...

The Kobe X Blackout are more of a grown man colorway than the Kobe 8 Purple Fades and the Kobe 9 Elite Low Moonwalker

Just took another look at the ASGs in person. After a deeper examination, I think the peeling is inevitable, even if you're only wearing them casually.

Gotta agree that this will go down as one of the better CW of the X's. That's without seeing what's in store for also.

They may be "plain" but they are def a shoe that must be had in any laker fans Kobe collection. I got the Gradients, Moonwalkers, and can hardly wait for Saturday to add this to my collection.

I do remember hearing a lot of people saying that the moonwalkers were too plain. To others credit, at that point in time we were getting nothing but loud colors for the hightop 9's at that point. If I remember correctly the moonwalkers were released after the influence. That is def. a change of pace lol.

Anyways the blackouts are pretty nice and will be copping. One of the few times ive been excited for a shoe release. I know people will think its lame cuz its a gr though but oh well lol.
 
So are the ASG Kobes good or...? Debating buying either those or a pair of the upcoming foamposites coming out depending on how people feel about them.

Are they comfortable? Look nice in person? Durable? I already own multiple foams so I know what to compare to, but none of the places near me get Kobes in store.
