Nike stop with the volt already. volt, volt, volt volt volt. Yuck. Why ruin a perfectly good purple Kobe, the supposed team collection color- WITH VOLT?! Looks like a piss yellow clear sole that's 2 years old.

What a waste. would insta-cop if that sole was purple. Or black. Or white, or gray, or clear, or proper laker yellow even. BUT VOLT? #@/% £#!

It was a tongue-in-cheek statement.  I really can't believe you even took that literally or even took to time to reply thinking it was a serious comment. If you need a translation, I was saying they make so many products that consumers want, we're willing to waste a lot of our money on them. My lord ... some of you people are really perplexing. I swear.

As an Econ student's perspective, you'd be surprised how often I've heard the argument with "take your money" being meant literally. Words have meanings. Take is literally the opposite of freely give. I prefer to say what I literally mean when I use words

Well, that's fine if you have a certain preference when using words. Use them the way you want, I couldn't care less; however, that doesn't mean to take things I or other people say as being literal, especially when that was never my intent. Further, I don't need a lesson on the meaning of "take" or what "freely give" means. Anyone that has attended elementary school knows the difference between the two. You being Econ student doesn't relieve you of using of common sense.  I would have hoped I didn't have to use smilies or rolling emoji heads to indicate the tongue-in-cheek comment, especially if you're in college... And for the record, I'm pretty sarcastic person in general. In fact, I rather enjoy the same in others if it generates a good laugh, even if they're busting my chops.
