That is true and game is musically superior at this point but fif did give him the boost he needed although it coulda been anyone at that point cuz everything under that interscope umbrella was blowing

Man all this hype around it has me nervous. Hope this doesn't feel too forced. Game has the ability to drop a classic or at least something with tons of replay value.

nah if anything he gets underlooked because of his beefs with artists that people worship so dearly. he's far from average, if those name drops actually bother you you clearly missing the point. his name is "The Game" for a reason. he's like a walking memorial for all eras of Hip Hop. dude praises the legends and can even emulate them to the point where it's impressive. his diss records are also hilarious and classic.

I was one of those people that slept on him cuz all the beef ****. I bumped The Documentary hard just like everybody else but after the G-Unit beef, him taking shots at Jay and other people it just got corny. He turned himself into a West version of 50 but the difference is Game kept making good music. I didn't even listen to Doctors Advocate till I heard all the praise it got and I couldn't hate on it. Immediately I thought it was better than The Documentary.

I would agree as far as doc adv being better just cuz he did it on his own. Proved all the haters wrong that he couldn't do it without 50 and I love that west coast sound to the album.
Documentary has more bangers but doc adv was something with more substance as a whole.

Here's a question, would anybody be surprise if someone thought JP was his best work? I was thinking about that, I honestly wouldn't be. I could see how someone would think that's his best work.

i wouldn't be surprised, and wouldn't be mad either. I personally don't think it's his best work, but you can't go wrong with Documentary, Doctor's Advocate, nor Jesus Piece.

And concept wise, it was a very well put together album. Could have done without some features like wayne but it's a very solid album. Missing a song like start from scratch or why u hate the game for me to put it at his best work
