***** Official The Game Thread*****[Final Album "Westside Story'' TBA]

Your crazy, Game is a Legit artist. He would probably drop an album just as regularly as he drops them now.

I figured he would still keep the YMCMB affiliation but I'm still curious as to why the whole deal never went through.

 at Guys really thinking he will only do 30k first week. Did y'all forget his last album was Executive produced by Ye. Game has fans, a legit fan base and a decent level of respect in hip hop, plus a freaking TV show.

He will sell 30k (independently) just off of the TV show fans.

what are you talking about fam?

snippet of a new track from Game, not sure when we're getting it probably soon

Defunct. Not a single person released an album, nor even built up buzz enough to draw mixtape interest

False.

All of those dudes who were affiliated with BWS did well for themselves:

K. Dot

Jay Rock

Clyde Carson

G. Malone

Ya Boy

He just failed at getting an official deal for it.

I'm wondering if this deal isn't for BloodMoney as a label and he signed with YMCMB as a solo artist.  I remember him stating that BloodMoney La Familia was going to be a compilation album.

Had you not mentioned Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar being affiliated with BWS, I wouldn't have known. But I'm sure Tech N9ne & Strange Music have done more for Jay Rock than BWS though. When were they affiliated with BWS? I only remember the other dudes you named, along with Charlie Baltimore and Cyssero.

Jay and K. Dot were featured on a lot of the early mixtapes for BWS. Think of the BWS Journal tape. That's where a lot people got to hear them for the first time. Game was also featured on a few of jay's mixtapes also. Jay Rock was the main guy that TDE was trying to push. Then K. Dot exploded on the scene which probably surprised the crew. In my opinion, Jay sold himself short by going to Strange Music but you're right, they did more for him financially than Game probably could have at the time.

G. Malone got the $1 million dollar from Sony Red (?) after being on Game's tapes and dropping his first mixtape under the BWS umbrella.

BWS could have been such a strong power house but I don't think Game was ready to give up that spotlight. He had such raw talent around him that they probably would have been in the same situation that TDE is in right now if he was more willing to share that spotlight.

Put money on what? I think he'll sell 30, maybe 40. That's not an insult. What are your predictions?

Album won't go near 300K total either. Last album didn't sell as much as they were hoping either. No idea why he was even talking about going to Cash Money on his last album, he's not that stupid. He'll easily make more selling less independently.
he'll do more than 30k- 40 imo. he did 87k on jesus piece and literally had no backing from interscope...like none

The Red Album was the only bad Game album.
why do u think that? it does have some filler but some songs are bangers (city, red nation, ricky, good bad ugly, heavy artilery)

i think it was actually better than Lax....he also had a lot of great songs that leaked early that were supposed to make the album (rough, monsters in my head) check those out if u want they are great songs

There was a lot of leak songs that should of been on the album not sure if Big Money was post LAX but I enjoyed it. Just after track 3 I was disappointed. Ricky was good also.

Red was way better than LAX. Red didn't really have a direction and was loaded with features, but it just had more good songs than LAX.

Red and LAX both had some real good on it. Yes Peep that includes the songs with Wayne.
