Dre supposes to vouch for him tho. He's not terrible but there's no way u can put him on that upper echelon of rappers. He's on that 2nd tier when he's at his best for sure tho.
 
I know u a game fan bruh but he not on the top tier, I'd consider a guy like Kendrick on that top tier. Nothing wrong with the next tier of rappers tho, the rick Ross, games,etc.
 
I wouldn't rank him low as wale either because he's clearly better than him. We've seen game at his best and wale has never come close to that.

back in 2005-2006 he was considered as a 1st tier rapper, he might not be now but he's pretty much set in stone as a staple of bringing the West back after Snoop & 2Pac

Kendrick would say otherwise, i'm also sure he respects the hell out of him for putting his coast on the map around the time Documentary dropped. Game actually gave him his first shot on his mixtape back in 2006. i think people discredit Game at times. on the West he's still well known.

Back in 05-06 tip, jeezy, game, 50 etc were all top tier rappers and none are now so that means nothing. I mean no one forgets what he did for the west. Like a previous top tier nelly has said this is a young mans game. These new dudes listening don't care what these dudes did 10 yrs ago

only 1st tier rappers that are good these days are Drake, J. Cole & Kendrick, the rest ain't making as much noise as those 3. either way it's all a cycle, in a few years these 3 might be in the same position as those you mentioned.
 
Exactly, that's why I said its a young mans game. There's always gonna be the new guys and the older guys are pushed to the side.

but there's younger artists that ain't on Kendrick's, Cole's or Drake's level. and i don't see them ever reaching their popularity.
 
Its always somebody out there. We probably thought the same thing years ago but that's just how it is. Fast forward 5 years there's gonna be someone we never heard of who is on that level and popular as hell. Especially with the internet era dudes are coming outta nowhere.

I think this album will change ur opinion. To each his own I still mess with tip jeezy game heavy over a lot of these so called top tier mcs today.

U also got ppl like lord Jamar who say game and Many others are better than eminem, I don't agree with that but everyone entitled to their own opinion

Not sure how accurate this is, but this album may come out on June 30th. Is Game trying to pull a Beyonce? Don't think that will work as well for him. Guess well see next Tuesday.

Like I said in the J Cole thread to you im a big fan of his but he just not on Drake or Kendrick level in the rap game.(Dude changed up his style to mimic Drake) They are the only rappers from the newer rappers in that tier 1

He is like upper level tier 2 but there so many other ****** in that group of rappers.

I was just talking about barely being second tier.
