***** Official The Game Thread*****[Final Album "Westside Story'' TBA]

Game low key makes quality music.

Sure his name dropping and attention who're act sometimes is annoying...

But at the end of the day. The guy has a great ear for beats. Puts out quality mixtapes. And solid consistent albums.

Part II.

Game will be pretty much busy for the rest of the year. During his interview with the LA Leakers last night, he revealed he will be releasing The Documentary 2, the follow-up to his 2005 debut album. Hopefully, the Doc checks in for that.

Kust last week, Game announced his deal with eOne and his Blood Money La Familia album for a September 16 release. Listen to his latest track, “Bigger Than Me” here.

we're in for a treat :pimp:

Bigger Than Me is really good and Game is coming off of possibly his best album to date. I'm more excited for this than I ever thought I would be for a Game project at this point in time.

Game says "The Documentary 2" is slated to feature production from Scott Storch and Just Blaze, as well.

Game says he is slated to release The Documentary 2 January 2015.

"I'm going back to the Just Blazes, Scott Storches, the Dr. Dres," Game says in an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106's Justin Credible. "We gon' get it handled."

The project is a sequel to The Documentary, which was released in 2005. The effort was Game's debut album on Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records and featured Dr. Dre handling a portion of the production, along with Kanye West and Just Blaze.

The Documentary earned a 4 out of 5 in its HipHopDX review.

Game recently congratulated Dr. Dre on his Beats Electronics deal with Apple by posting an image of Dre from his N.W.A days. The Instagram post features the following caption.

"#FlashbackFriday A BILLIONAIRE in the making. Congrats big homie !!!!!!!! #Compton," Game said.

It's been close to two years since Game's last studio effort, Jesus Piece, and now, the Compton MC is ready to make his comeback off the strength of his just-released single, "Bigger Than Me."

The spiteful-yet-sullen, emotionally-charged record finds Game barking at detractors and calling himself the "Black Marshall Mathers" while affirming his place in hip-hop as one of its realest voices.

Game Gives Back With His Robin Hood Project

Stopping by REVOLT Live earlier today to chop it up about the track, Game admitted that "every record that I made in my life is a dis to somebody," and this new one is no different, despite him throwing direct shade at this year's XXL Freshmen Class.

"I don't think it's nothing personal with anybody," said Game, "in hip-hop, as any genre of music, there's a competition. There's a number one spot on Billboard, and I always want it."

Game also went on to deflect any assumptions that the song is directed at Freshman Lil Durk, who the Cali rapper engaged in a lyrical beef on last month's "ChiRaq To LA" dis record.

The rapper's Blood Money La Familia is due out later this year.

The Game has had the most consistent discography in Hip-Hop (yes, including mixtapes) since he stepped into the rap game.

Dre, Storch, Just Blaze nuff said....Game Over....no pun intended

TD was good
DA was straight. 4-5 trash songs on it
LAX absolute trash. Waste of my $12
RED has some great songs but also a lot of trash. 50/50. The City is probably my favorite song of his. A lot of the songs that were leaked were better than the final album
JP is probably my favorite album of his. Between this and TD.

Game can rap but chooses not to. It's like he needs guidance. Someone to help him with ideas or pointers.

As for this TD2. I'm sure he'll get Scott Storch beats for free, I'm guessing he'll only spend money on one Just Blaze beat. He says there's a Dre beat on every album and usually there isn't.

Bigger than Me video is a PROBLEM. :x :smokin

Game ain't ****** around right now. :wow:
Neither is the Unit.

3 years ago if there were rumors of a G Unit reunion with Game I would of laughed and said get the hell outta here you attention who(res).

But right now? The Unit is back and they sound like classic 03' GUnit... And the Game is on fire with his music since Jesus Piece.

So the timing couldn't be better.
That classic GUnit nostalgia plus a motivated Game coming out with some recent heat could be a massive problem if they play their cards right.

Hope 50 and Game smarten up and realize what kind of buzz and money they can both make right now since they're both on their independent tip.

Who woulda thought GUnit and The Game would be buzzin like this 10 years later? They better not let this opportunity slip.

I'm lookin forward to the next upcoming months. These dudes got me hyped with these recent songs. No more cookie cutter, record label pop ********.

Both game and the unit are independent and free to make good music and that seems like exactly what they're doin.

Count me in as officially HYPED for this summer of rap music :pimp:
