Nah. I be finessing Nike to get 20% off all my shoes. I don't buy the shoes when signed into my account anymore just so they can't check my order history when I try and finesse a 20% discount.
I can already tell you that it isn't. it's a better leather but really it's just textured more and slightly higher grade. we have gotten the same and even better leather on other shoes for much less like sb's and things like that. they should have been giving us that leather the whole time on jordans but they knew they would still sell. the hype and/or addiction is the selling point for retros so they choose to skimp on the materials and craftsmanship knowing that just the idea of the shoe is practically enough to sell it. there is no way around the fact that these have never been and will never be $200 shoes. BUT.... an overwhelming majority of people don't care and will still buy them which is the real tragedy in all of this. for what these shoes are, even in their highest quality they should NEVERR be this close to $200.
the way i see it, $15-20 more isnt too much of a problem when im already committed to paying $170+. to be fair though, where i live we don't really pay tax for shoes. only recently. for the blk/infra 6 the total came to $185.61, and for the legend blue 11 it came to $201.56, which baffles me because thats not even 1% on the dollar lol.

No. because how can XIV's be $170, XIII's be $185, and VI's be $185, and XI's be $200. The pricing is inconsistent and not logical.
XIVs came out before the price increase. and XIs always cost more than the other jordans usually idk why but probably because its always a guaranteed day 1 sellout and JB knows it. so the pricing isn't as inconsistent as you are putting it
they're both nice but if I was copping I would probably just go for colombias. those laces look better on the white cw imo
i would imagine i will end up grabbing both of them. Fours are one of my favorites and i love rocking them. No reason for me not to.
