It depends, the store I was working at sold out of aquas the first weekend, but we got another shipment from other locations where they didn't sell well. The second shipment of aquas sat until mid October that year. Scooped my pair on discount. I wasn't so lucky for the 7/16 pack. We didn't get a lot and I didn't cop and wasn't copping if it wasn't from my store. I def wasn't about that full price life if I had my own discount

It was part of the original shoe, so I don't see it as a bonus really. It would have bugged me slightly but not necessarily a deal breaker if it wasn't included. Ftr, these "metal tips" feel lighter than the OGs, but it's not that big of an issue.

Actually it's him.. he seems upset and annoyed that this shoe released.. either he can't afford the new price increase or he has nothing else to do with himself other than trying to increase his post count. he's had like 3 or 4 useless posts. "They were a flop bc they're sitting, they're still on all websites, they're still sitting" who gives a damm.. I walked into local champs at 830pm and copped.. felt great walking in just like the good old days.. you are correct. These youngbucks minds are distorted and I'm glad the price increase has weeded out the hype beasts and resellers...

I know of his antics. I should have never addressed him in the first place knowing what he does. 
 
Good thing about jordan retros sitting on finishline.com is they tend to offer free shipping a week or two after release if they arent selling

Nike/JB has already made their money selling to their vendors. Whatever may get RTV'd goes right back to their outlets at $5-10 discount. If you don't understand their genius, then you need to reevaluate your standards.

Everyone has already explained that white in winter isn't a good mix; adding the holiday spending, they're not selling out first weekend. Why this bothers some of you is beyond me though.

I prefer it this way. 

Nike held a meeting with some folks of their 2015 business plan...they're flooding the market at a higher price point to get rid of resellers (not all) but curb the ones who only started buying shoes because of the return.

Watch your outlet counters...there have been a huge influx of returns since the WTL of RD product by resellers who can't stomach only making $20. There's GOF packs being returned because people are impatient and don't understand how money works.
 
Id like to see the french blue 7s with everything as is, only in black..

I just cant wait till they raise all these releases to 220! Hypebeasts and lil youngins will fall back to more nike roshes and other cheap shoes. If the robotic lookin LeBrons, and other shoes are goin for crazy prices, you know its comin. Cant wait. Wack colorways will stop too! Lady Liberties anyone?
 
Y do people worry so much bout their availability... Thats hw it was n thats how we gna end up eating for retail or less...thats good n it might get jb to reconsider. And i dont buy the argument that too mny white based shoes released. Jb could drip the legend blues xi today n they would sell out. Peeps just arent interested in the shoes or they are broke or have priorities....

The 10/13 pack was the first one right? That didn't sit by me. That pack and the 11/12 pack sold the best
 
I should've waited? A day after release and, they're still on shelf. So what? They're Retros. Maybe not the most hyped but, I'm willing to bet within a weak they're sold out.

It's great they're sitting. More for me. I'd disagree that a price hike is the way to solve it, though. What if jb made these more readily available? Limited stuff has started to get on my nerves. Why should I have to get up at 10 to get a sneaker? Why can't I just go in and, just buy it like a normal release?

These kids buy kicks for other people and not themselves. If they're not desired by other people, they desire them less.

How do you say a sneaker flopped, but then at the same time cry about how hard sneakers are to get?

I hope sneakers are easy to get. It will drive all the fakes, resellers and hypebeast from the hobby.

If jordans were just chilling in stores like they used to, there wouldn't be nearly as many "sneaerheads" as there are now. the thing that gets people talking/interested is the lines and all the hype. kids getting hyped up about camping on release date and stuff. it's stupid and a hassle for the average person, but some people seem to embrace it and are attracted to the limited factor. people that never cared about or noticed/seen the concords before see what went on and everyone saying how hot the shoe is so it reels in the followers.
 
I'm just happy to get them. I've always wanted a "hot" Jordan. Sure, I could've gotten some Futures but, since I've gotten into Sneakers I've wanted a Retro more. I'm just a little mad at these online shipping costs.
