you would think so right?! but in all honesty i dont think so especially in my area that has its bad ghetto sides they still sold ray allens for $500 a pop and they sold quickly and probably werent even real, the trash that sells drugs to live can buy those shoes easily and i have seen them pay triple retail for GR shoes and thats for horrible quality. i dont know what will stop this insanity but im seriously done with shoes until this crap calms down

Ralph Lauren cost like 25% more overseas too, it's just import taxes
plus their money is worth more nowadays so it's probably not really like spending 300$

It used to be a fun hobby but it's no longer the same, I'll always have love for sneakers and I'll buy pairs here and there
but not like it once was.

of course they will still buy, but the good part about the actual collectors and people who rock their shoes is that if/when enough of us actually stop buying jordans then the resellers will start to lose money or break even and eventually (and i mean in a good while) they will stop buying every shoe GR or limited and we can have our releases back. i like it that they sell out but selling out to grandmas and grandpas because they are making a few bucks aint making me happy so when i go to a release and wait in a moderate line and everyone gets their pairs then and only then will i cop shoes that i possibly dont love but want anyways because right now i truly have to love a shoe to cop them.

I have a feeling prices will go down on some sneakers but the majority of most limited Jordan's will remain or continue to go up in price

Adidas superstars = $80 today
Blk/cement 3s = $180 today
Adidas superstars price stayed relatively the same, while blk/cement 3s skyrocket.
Jordan's don't set the standard for pricing, you have to look at the bigger picture. Prices go up because of supply and demand.

Funny thing is that the 'less than desirable' customers are the ones that drive sales. The price increases aren't to exclude them from purchasing the sneakers, instead it's to get every single $ from them.
