Jordan Brand will be remastering (building better quality shoes) starting in 2015

Where and when did I say this? I think you have me confused with some other cat from the previous page. In my opinion the color on the actual 2012 pair was horrible. '99 was much closer like others have mentioned on here.
Yea your right my Baaad Bro.

if they must put out retro+ colorways with similar molds from what's been available over the past 10 years...
they can still drop the original colorways with brand new molds with care taken to be as close to the original mold as possible

am hoping - this directed at AJ4 & AJ5 original colorways

I thought the Jordan IIIs and IVs were the best done molds in a LONG time. Granted the past 5 years before the IIIs came out we were stuck with banana molds. IVs could use some improvement but I aint complaining. The recent 5s tho. They were almost right but at the same time still way off. Toebox was off. The 2006s were better.

back then it was obvious nike/jb were sleepers cuz most of the time you only knew what people were wearing on their feet by observation and hype didn't fuel much demand. A time when it didn't necessarily matter how many pairs were produced, a time when people admired what your sneakers were even if they didn't match your outfit, a time when wearing nikes/js was eye catching while playing basketball, tennis or any sport or fitness activity, a time when sneakers weren't fashionable, they were just the iconic manifestation of a signature company that represented the finesse of proficient athletes

jb laughing it up while we crying, buying, indifferent or protesting...in 85-99 and some stuff to 03 they were making quality shoes with lower prices even if the economy wasn't currently the way it is and they were making decent money, just not greedy "big business" money like every company wants today and for the future.

they said we'll increase profits by making cheaper stuff simply because we are now the "apple inc" of the sneaker world. This happens with 99% of companies that become hugely successful. There are some things you cannot compare or contrast with other companies. It only was a matter of time. I mean if the yeezy 2 was technically "premium" and it was "cheaper" in touch and comfort than the first yeezy, it seems that style and design with the right colorway has more of influenced effect factor for buying a shoe rather than comfort and material.

If nike jb implemented this practice of inferior quality a long time ago it only would have benefited their wallets to the point that today's products would be so cheaply made it would probably not been worth buying, and maybe they could have gotten the message to make better products...however at this phase of the market the majority of consumers are hyped up by the popularity thus they are those who wont care much about what enthusiasts were saying for years. Since they feed the nike jb cow, nike jb will still continue to mass produce sub par products to the masses, and then once in awhile release f aux "good" quality retros of ogs that cost more now than before. The 1000s of members that are on niketalk are a minority who are more sophisticated and refined in their tastes versus the majority that is the general public that nike jb will cater too because they are ones who are the majority, and majority does eventually rule. The thing for nike jb is that will the kind of "remastered" materials and structure they use be cheaper in cost but also look good and feel good to us so that we stop complaining? Will they profit or resort to their old methods? With this approach they look like they are trying to juggle and balance net profits, quality and their image on some, maybe not all products.

There's a saying in life that you don't value something until its lost or gone. Sometimes some of us don't realize how good it really was back then.

Actually it's not lame to voice your displeasure with a product that COULD have been better if it were for better quality and lower prices. The lame losers are the ones complaining about quality and prices but still buying all of it. Kudos to anyone who sits out quality and high prices for better valued products. If everyone did this, JB would start to actually meet the consumer in the middle rather than sticking it to them with every opportunity.

nah it's still lame. Example: Michael Kors watches. Those are crappy watches made by Timex. They are 40 dollar watches with a 200 dollar tag. Why don't I complain? Because I don't give a **** how crappy the watches are or how overpriced they are. I have no interest in them.  They could make them out of gold painted dog **** and I still wouldn't care. And I def wouldn't go onto the Michael Kors forum and complain about price and quality. Seems stupid.

And it's also a terrible comparison cause the guy is clearly a fan of sneakers and (at least quality) Jordans. He wouldn't be here having a conversation if he weren't. So to say someone has no interest in the product because they don't like the price is just plain stupid.

still pretty damn lame to complain about prices of a product you have no interest in. pretty damn lame.
Yes I would definitely "complain" about something I have zero interest in! Your comment displays traits of you having a LAME BRAIN!!! Everyone is not blessed with common sense... The justification of the crazy price jumps is a tad disturbing!

Watched a DJ Delz vid of the Oreo 4s and man that leather was looking AWESOME! I really hope those look good next year man, Those and Black/red 12s I could get and be good honestly.

we need these to drop with this "remaster" series, the OG 1996 Space Jam XI with Concord Jumpman & 45 on the back.

imagine these with premium leather, Icy Blue Soles, & that OG patent leather cut. I would probably triple up easy

Just had a thought... I wonder how much 15-22 retros will retail when they start dropping??? Upon first release they were the prices of these current retros!!!

Is no one reading my post? I AM AGREEING WITH YOU!

I want hulk to explain why "inflation" has hit Jordan Brand more than NSW. Why are Jordans 170 (200 next year) and ATCs only increased from 110 to 120. Js increased from 110 to 200 in the same time period.
obviously they arent moving ATC 2's VALUE is not keeping up with inflation... not EVERYTHING keeps up with inflation..

for example a computer built in 1999 would be 100x more expensive the a computer built today with same exact specs...

based on your argument you would say inflation doesnt exist..

now for you.. do you expect that 1 dollar 15 years ago is equivelant to 1 dollar today?
