Jordan Brand will be remastering (building better quality shoes) starting in 2015

Finally got the scoop on the men sizes in the Colombia IV and French Blue VII. If you remember I stated how disappointed I was in the GS sizes, and if they reflected the mens many would be hot.

But after inspecting both in a mens size I was impressed. Both feature a plush full grain pebble leather upper. There's a noticeable difference between Jordans that previously shared the same full grain pebbled leather uppers. Theres less of a plastic like feel and more of a soft indentation when pressed upon.

While the materials do feel better the shape also is subtle changes. I do notice a more curved toe on the IV. Not a big change but theyre getting there. The VII has a more slumped/bumped heel like models earlier models pre 2006.

My only let downs were the padding in the VII's. While the shoes feel more plush and soft, I felt that JB could've done a better job with the padding.
Okay so the treatment's the same for GS sizes? okay then...

I have a question though, what's the equivalent of the new 9.5Y size?

@AirThompson, its good to hear they actually held to their word. Hopefully they continue to keep a increase in quality to match the price. Im leery theyll keep the price hike, but go back to sub par materials.

They will charge an extra $30-$40 for the padding and slap a CMFT suffix to it. :smh:

Did you get a chance to try them on?

How do you guys feel about GS sizes stopping at a 9.5? I'm curious on y'all opinion.

i think you may be confused. from my understanding, they will do what they did years ago and make women's colors up to a 9.5 in mens tho they used to go to a 11 in mens i think.

Thanks for the info airthompson airthompson

How would you compare the "improved' toe on the IV to the 2012 IV's?
Pictures make them look similar, but Im encouraged to hear that you find them somewhat decent

Got any good pictures of the 7's? Those are the only ones I'm worried about

Wait so you guys saying grade school exclusive sizes will now go up to 9.5 which is equal to a womens 11?

Is this for all nikes or just these jordan remasters?

As airthompson airthompson said the leather is :smokin Fit is compared to any other 7s half size big and yes the GS model has a teal/ turquoise bottom :smh:
I only wish some of this years 6s were "remastered"

Speaking on womens Js these are the only pair I could justify owning, mainly due to that 412 colorway. Still in pristine condition.

Women's sizes in retro's used to go up to size 13 or 14 depending on the releases, which meant anyone up to size 12 in men's could get them in their size. I' really want a pair of citrus xi's when they re retro but the sizing won't go to a women's 13, men's 11.5. As far as the Columbia iv's, I want a pair but I know I'll be disappointed. The tongue still looks thin and the toebox still looks the same as the previous iv's from 2012-13.

When you buy a WMN US9.5 your size in cm is 26.5 = MEN US8.5

There are too chart on internet...

That's not accurate. In our shoe stores, we found that 1.5 size up for Women Shoes was best in most cases.

I wear an 11.5 Mens, and always needed a 13 in Womens. Womens shoes tend to be more narrow, so the extra half size makes a difference.

Bruh.... I hate the steelers but those 7s have always been tough.

So when is the first "remastered" shoe set to release so we can see these in person. I can't trust some of y'all young kids opinions that think the recent retros with fake leather are great quality.
