Jordan Brand will be remastering (building better quality shoes) starting in 2015

The differences people can have on what's good and what isn't. Of the three versions above the 12' definitely looks the best to me.

That pics leaves out the CDP 4s, which was a pure hack job

Secondly I hate the 2012s, not for the mold mainly, but the fact they don't use durabuck. The grey lines that the edges of the durabuck make are essential, adds to the character of the shoe.

Saved this pic from the WDYT thread, forgot the Nter's name. So sorry to whoever it is for not being able to credit. But on feet, older 4s are sooooo gorgeous

nike/JB is never gonna give us the shoe that we want

they are a egocentric company what only cares about making large profits

and their image as the worlds number 1 athletic sportswear brand

that's exactly it. their main goal wasn't to make better shoes, they just needed a way to retain 99% of customers with the $20 price jump. I would not be surprised at all if 11s get a $10 price increase every year now. If they followed that pattern they would be $250 by the "year of the 11". and nike knows they would sell hundreds of thousands all throughout the year. if foams sell for $250 they know damn well 11s will too

Can someone please explain these remastered bourdeux 7's????? I swear they look like the one's that released a few years.....and don't hand me the darker green better leather jive jb throwing out there

That is one of my pet peeves about the recent 4s. The netting is so off from 89 and 99, seriously how much are they saving with that stiff netting.
this is just my opinion, but IMO the stiffer netting (or most of the retro became more stiff on the sides) help with foot support. although they do make casual wear less comfortable, but they are probably better IF anyone decides to play in them.

There aren't any pictures of the remastered pair out yet.

No more banana shape. But the netting is awful.

If JB could literally produce a shoe that looks at least 90% close to what the 89' model looked like, INCLUDING Nike Air on the backtab, as well as the overall height and ankle appearance...then they truly would have won me over with this "remastered" thing, and I would GLADLY....reward them for their time and effort...

but we all know that isn't what JB is about......actually it's pathetic..:smh:

I am 80% sure of copping. This is a nice/standout colorway. Might double up if the quality is dope.

That green fade is wild stupid, and looks like hot garbage. They should scrap that Cement block and move the Green up there, then make the whole bottom midsole Black with the Pink teeth, like so….

Probably still wouldn't cop, but it seems like better color blocking to me

I feel like the 4s are the most botched retro over the years.

Im with you on that Mr...SweetJeezusWheredZooeyDeschanelGo

the shape of the most recent released pair is better than the OG

maybe its because I never wore the original, but can someone state what the benefits are of the original shape over the new shape (more toebox room, better overall fit, etc.)

I really do not understand all of this talk about the shape of a shoe, of which really has no true value. The true value of anything is in the quality of craftsmanship that goes into the product, materials used, and if they all work together well, making the product durable enough for usage, which shows resiliency and character.

That's real value in the estimation of a user, owner.  I really do not get the shape thing, at all. If they are truly remastered, that speaks to materials and durability, not something as useless as "shape".

It is no wonder that the industry sees the sneakerhead as nothing but a joke.
I respect the idea of craftsmanship trumping shape, but for many on these forums--shape equals craftsmanship.  It is that attention to detail, that in our minds, helps separate the "remastered" line from past efforts that fell well short of the mark.

Shape has no value ????   WTF is this statement   , seriously   if the shape of a shoe is off  , it means ugly then in my mind  , it's like buying a fugly car   even with the best quality materials ... AT THE END OF THE DAY  IT'S  BUTT UGLY  .
