Jordan Brand will be remastering (building better quality shoes) starting in 2015

This thread just got me feeling some type of way...they are charging damn near 2 bills after taxes for some shoes.  Most of you guys have jobs but a lot of kids (middle schoolers and highschoolers) who aren't employed, and lets be honest that makes up I bet at least 50% of the buyers are begging their parent(s) to purchase these shoes.  These kids just don't understand the value of money and how hard some of their rents work but they get them anyways out of love.  When I was growing up I'd be slapped for asking for some 200 dollar shoes from my rents.  For the price they are charging, you'd expect JB to own up to what they said about being true to the OG molds, quality and leather but in reality it's just a gimmick, publicity stunt, marketing ploy whatever you want to call it...the worst part is that the inconsistencies are glaringly obvious and almost looks like no effort was made and I think that's what is making alot of sneakerheads upset.  This is a multibillion dollar company you think they don't have the technology to make an identical replica of originals?  It's a disgrace and a slap in the face to us sneakerheads too, nobody likes being lied to and I promise the rate they are going it's not sustainable.

noting is going to change though unless people actually STOP copping. and we know every single shoe is going to sell out this year pretty much in the same usual amount of time. it's ignorant to complain about it but still say "oh I'm getting this and this this year then im done". people gotta stop doing what nike expects if they want any real changes.
 
Aquamanjay_ Aquamanjay_ it seems that the 2015 retro seems on point from the back of the shoe but the toe box is the only thing that is noticeablely different from each shoe. I don't mind the toe as much on the newer retros as some people complain about tho so idk how you feel about it
 
Not even that mad at those new 7s. That's definitely a step up from everything in the last few years.

I haven't paid retail for any shoe in a looonnngg time buddy...I scour ebay for steals and been doing just fine.  If you want to see a list of some of my steals in the last month I'd be happy to share screenshots.
 
I think the reason jb is comin with this remaster bs is because they have realized that they have cheapened the material so much that it has become hard to tell the fakes from the real. Ppl think that bootleggers step their game up but its the opposite jb stepped their game down so much that it became so hard to tell them apart.  Example the other day walked into hoh at the fl mall and saw a pair of clear toe kyire Erving af1 and I just smh bc the only sites that had clear af1's where fake Chinese sites.

I think that plays a big part in why they're giving now ,what they should've been giving the whole time.

I didn't buy the recent release.  There was no need for me to get them since I have the originals.  I've never been the cat to buy more than 1 pair of the same shoe in the same colorway.

This video makes me feel good about the Jordan 7s remastered. Lets just hope the Hares and Bordeauxs are this nice if not nicer.

i refuse to succumb to these prices man.  its not like i dont want columbia 4s or any JB releases but ffs 190 all you getting from me is a big SMH and a C'MON MAN!!    you can either call me a cheap *** or a smart shopper idc as long as im getting mine.

Abrasive as a scouring pad & Tried to rebuttal any and everything posted ,whether towards him or not, reminded me of a toddler playing the "why" game.

If hes gone,& they gave him the boot, thats a plus for the forum. Good Riddance.
