The lack of exactness hasn’t stopped retros from selling, but you couldn’t argue that the shapes, materials and even certain details like logos were the same as they were originally designed.

In response to the value placed on their loyal supporters, Jordan Brand is about to make that all change, beginning in the Spring of 2015 (which also happens to be the 30th anniversary year of the original Air Jordan). What we are talking about is a remastering of the Air Jordan line, in which Jordan Brand is taking a higher level, holistic approach to the way their retro product is produced, with the aim being to make great products even better."

It sure does! A 10% to 15% price increase to be exact smh! So basically they plan to charge us more money for something they should've already been doing.

there is a video of tinker saying this same exact thing somewhere from years back. I believe it was supposed to happen @ 160-170 but obviously they didn't "remaster" anything but the boxes.
